Hi there I'm ZeChampion

My in-game name is Swartz and i'm level 8 nearly level 9.
I need a good place with lots of monsters around my level so i can level up quickly.
Does anyone know of somewhere?

Also if anyone has any spare money then i would be very grateful if they would donate it to me. I will pay you back later. No less than 2 gold pls

Thanks!

Til around level 12, stick to your starting zone doing all the quests there, the quests will eventually be gone in that zone, and towards the end of the quests, you will get one that moves you onto the next zone.

As far as money is concerned, noone likes beggars, I'd suggest not begging for money on your realm as it will give you a bad rep fast, lots of ignores, and if you plan on playing that character all the way to 70, later on you might find that noone will want to instance with ya because they think you are greedy and might even have you on ignore already. Besides, asking for gold on the forums is worthless anyways, there are hundreds of servers in wow which are not connected to each other, and chances of finding someone from your server on your faction who is willing to give someone gold for nothing is very slim.

Just quest, fastest way to level in the game, and the higher level you get, the more gold you will get.

Unable to answer this question - you didn't say whether you are horde or alliance or what race/class you are. Therefore we have no way of knowing where you are now or what areas you would even be able to adventure in.

As far as cash goes - you need to run quests, grind, and pick up a profession to make money with. I would suggest mining - a stack of copper sells on the AH on my server for about 1 gold. Mine a couple stacks and your money problems go away and there are a LOT of copper nodes in Elwynn forest (if you are alliance) and in the mines there.

What everyone else said . . .

and dude . . .

lol lvl 8, new to the game and already begging? And setting rules to your begging as well . . lol . . "no less than 2G pls"

Pleeeaase give me goldzzzz . . . WHAT!? JUST ONE GOLDZ?!!! lol

I have never once given a single copper to anyone that has asked (except friends and guldies). But I have given money to people that don't ask - these are the people that ask me for help in grinding or for help with an instance run or where to find good mobs to kill for cash . . . these people get a quick 2-5G (depends on their gear) from me b/c they asked me to help them . . . not give them something.

________

If you could give us your faction and starting area we may be able to help but most likely people will tell you to use the search function as this is the 1,000,000,000,000,000 th post asking for money / leveling help. But you're new and would not have seen these, so I recommend seaching within the forum as there are pages and pages and pages of "how to make money / where to grind" threads here.

GL!

I thought this was just a joke, made on a new account by a regular member.

I really didn't think the op was serious.

I had some money. But one day I was fishing in Elwyn Forest. It was a warm spring day and I couldn't resisit sitting down for a short nap.

I woke up a bit later and this...this..BEAST was running away with all my gold.:hanky:
I found out later its name is HOGGER.

Yes, HOGGER has my gold. You will soon be level 9 ?
Find HOGGER.
Kill HOGGER.
Get my gold back...you can keep half.

I still believe, this is ZeJOKE.

If not, at level 8 you don't need more than you will loot.

Get mining, go mining sell the stuff you get.

Loot monsters, sell loot.

You will be just fine.

ok..if zees iz zerious
I will give you some advice that will actually help.
DO NOT ask for money. At your level you don't need hardly any anyway.

If you want to ask for something...ASK if anyone has any bags they could pass along (as a result of them upgrading). I used to take my tailor to the starting zones and give away bags. lately you can't hardly pay people to take them. No one wants a free 10 or 12 slot bag anymore. They must all be well funded alts.

But for a new player in the realm...extra bag space will net you a LOT more coinage than begging ever will. Loot EVERYTHING. Then sell. Until you get into your 20s you will have more than enough money to train and even buy some item upgrades....just from looting mobs. Take up a gathering profession...mining would be ok, but there aren't many nodes in the lower level zones...and you will have plenty of cash to spare.

Gathering professions are the way to go to make money quickly early on.

My main is an herbalist/alchemist. I make almost no money from alchemy, but you would be amazed at what even low-level herbs sell for in the AH. I make potions that require herbs for areas I can't set foot in yet, and I cringe each time I have to buy a stack.

As for mining, I started a Draenei alt on a different server (and so started with nothing), picked up mining as soon as I could, and found enough nodes over the course of several days to end up having 14g or so in the bank by lvl 15. Of course, I dedicated some time to mining only.

Leatherworking is a good option, too, but I didn't seem to make money as quickly with it.

Just loot everything. And you'll make alot of money. I made a hunter and by level 10 i had about 4-5 gold, from questing and selling everthing i looted. Which wasnt bad.

L2p? Learn to pee?

LOL, I wondered about that too.

Maybe he meant "Learn To (s)Pell" but accidently bit his tongue and couldn't get the "s" out.

Saying L2P to someone who is posting for help in a newcomer forum is redundant, and rude to be frank. Why do you think they came here to begin with?

It's not like it's hard to level and get gold in WoW.

The L2P was for him/her asking for money (no less than 2g).

I found the best thing to do is not pay combine questing and grinding. I normally try to do all the quests in a certain area at once, and don't allow myself to turn them in until I lvl. I find this is an easy easy way to lvl up.

As for money - my tips are a) loot EVERYTHING (like people have said)...everything has a price. even if it's just a tiny bit of cash, it's still worth to sell it. b) gathering professions - now...my experience on two different servers, is that a combination of mining and skinning is great. I find light leather sells well as well as copper. this will let you get quick cash. coupled with the - loot everything - mode, you'll find you'll get a chunk of small change quickly.

i'm mainly ally, so I would recommend that when you reach 20, head over to ravenhill cemetary (it's in darkshire - i think *brainfart*) . there you can easily finish A LOT of quests, and grind with ease (since you'll rez there too). you will also gather A LOT of green items and perhaps the occasional blue (i've had luck with 2 blue items there for one charater leveling there).

that's my advice :)

I fail to see the reason why we should cater to beggars.
