How exactly would coordinates help one navagate a route? You already have a destination and a starting point. Coordinates are designed for static object locations.

From Searing gorge enter the gate to Blackrock Mountain at around 35.83 (South West corner).
Walk through the gate and when you enter the central chamber following the spiralling way down (to your right).
Take the first gate to your right and voila: Burning Steppes.
Enjoy the scenery, Blackrock Mountain is quite pretty.

Thank you very much! Way more helpful than Kalos :D

Well I'm sory I couldn't interpret your use of fixed point geography into a navagable course. It doesn't make sense. Coordinates are location, not a route. Unless you wanted me to spit out a string of numbers for every step you wanted to take, I don't see how they could be used. Coordinates were developed for finding a location or a destination, and you already had that. The terminology asked for did not make sense.
If you had explained yourself and answered my questions, all chances are I might have been able to respond. But either way, you're welcome.

i agree he didnt make any sense when a coordinate is point/place on a map.

I'm pretty sure you understood what he meant Kalos. You're an intelligent guy.

You shouldn't overestimate me  I was just curious as to what format he wanted me to deliver directions upon. Verbally, I'd have just told him: Ride towards Blackrock Spire (Big Stinking Mountain) while looking for a large set of metal doors at it's base. Charge inwards, be careful not to fall off into the lava either side of the roadways, and pass out the other side, into the Burning Steppes. I was curious to how I was supposed to do it mathematically, if that's what was necessary. I've never seen Coordinates used in such a fashion and was curious how one would actually do it. There is one imaginative way I have thought up, but it's quite complicated and long.

s,s,s,s,s,s,s,sw,sw,sw,sw,s,s,s,s,se,se,se,se,e,e,e, (you reach a dead end) w,w,w,s,s,s,se,se,se,se,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,e,n,n,n,n,n,n,n,n,n
Thats if you want the FP in BS from SG.

Wouldn't it just be easier to fly to Red Ridge and hoof it up to Morgan's Vigil (around 8r,69) for the FP?

Can you please explain the route without all those static points? I cannot interpret your use of fixed geography like Big Stinking Mountain, set of metal doors and lava into navegable course.
On a side note: aren't two sets of coordinates a vector?

good point and coordinates were meant to be 84,69 not 8r (although technically r could have equals 10.5 and it would have been correct )
FYI the horde FP (I think) is around 65,23.

The thing with Kalos is, he's good with hardware. He tends to get confused when talking to real people who don't talk in exact terms and/or about something else THAN hardware.
