View Full Version : What is the maximum +damage i can add to my weapon

lv38 rogue gnome here.
just got a new sword (one handed) and i was wondering if any of you guys knew what is the maximum +damage i can add to it.
question
1) what mats would i need for the above
2) what proffesion can do it for me

If the weapon is below level 35 (of if a quest reward, below ilvl35), +5, otherwise +7.
1> 2 large brilliant shards and 10 greater eternal essences for +5
or 2 large prismatic, 6 greater planar essences and 6 arcane dust for +7
2> enchanters are who enchant, blacksmiths can make sharpening stones which put temporary +weapon damage buffs on weapons though, you would have to look it up on one of the wow database sites though for that or ask a blacksmith (can't link any of them, apparently they are all banned from here now I think).

+5 is Enchant Weapon - Superior Striking

Mongoose Enchant <-The Best IMO for rogues / hunters [this one plus one that heals you (Crusader or Lifestealing = :grin:)]
LifeStealing Enchant
Crusader Enchant
Fiery Weapon Enchant
Icey Chill Enchant (won't need crippling)
