ktm vs omen

Ok, i'm hearing lots of buzz about how good omen is.

I have the entire guild running ktm, but from what I understand people can just replace it with omen. Even if only a few people replace it they work well together.

But then I heard that omen was still a little quirky.

Aggro is a very important issue, have any of you used either? Which is more accurate?

I prefer omen, I used to use KTM. They do work together although it takes a while for omen to show on KTM. No mod is without it's faults, though KTM has had much more time to correct issues etc. Can't really say 1 is more accurate then the other, though Omen does track aggro on multiple targets(assuming they don't have the same name).

I say try Omen and if you don't like it go back to KTM.

Hate sounding picky, but shouldn't this be in the base "UI Customisation" forum, rather than in the "UI/Mod Developer Forum" :wink2:

Is it just me or does the "UI Customisation" forum appear to have died ?

So I've been searching all over for like 10 minutes on various UI sites, but can't find anything on 'Omen' or where/how to get it ... all I really come up with is KTM

The UI Customisation forums have been locked due to the UI site's pending overhaul (hey Admins, get that sucker online)

My fault for not noticing the other forum was locked. Even now I know its locked I still couldn't see any indication apart from the lack of a "New Thread" button, but nvm. I'd have posted here too in that case ;)

Back to topic...Sorta

I run both Ktm and assessment, Assessment being one of the ace threat meters like omen. Being a hunter I get to see the threat meter a little more ofter then most classes.

last night I was in a ring of blood group and all 5 members had a meter. As it turned out we had 3 running ktm omen and assessment. what I have noticed is that there is about a 10% give on ktm. while on assessment when it says I will take aggro I take before I can Feigh death. After talking to people at work about this (6 people play on my crew) about half said they would rather have that little give to be safe, while the others wanted a hard line so they knew when to slow the dps.
