Happy birthday rgirty. I suppose it depends on age really. I think the last *ahem* wild one was 30 but since then its either a good meal with friends &/or relatives or make an entire day of it and do something which I personally love to do. Have a good one whatever you do :)
ploy's planning on flying us out to vegas for a couple nights, but we prolly both dont have that kindda time...
i dont know, have lots of sex with your cute wife :D

Happy birthday rgirty.
What I do, preferably hide until the day is over, lest everyone get all mushy about it. Not always an option unfortunately, so I tend to keep fairly closed mouthed about when it is. Less hassles that way.

Myspace gave it away, I always forget about that.
Family never forgets, but fortunately I have a great family.

Im sitting around, 30 minutes after I was supposed to leave, waiting for my president to leave my boss alone long enough to either say, "Go home, see you tomorow" or "Go get dinner, see you in half an hour"
Lets hope
a) My prez leaves my boss alone soon
and
b) I don't have to run to McDonalds to grab a burger so I can be back to work in a half hour.
And rgirty - PST me your myspace. Do I actually need an account to view yours? /shudders at thought of 90 year old men immitating 17 year old girls trying to be jail bait.

I'm going to be turning 19 and be in residence. Safe to say I'm going to find out how much alcohol my body can consume, hopefully without ending up in hospital.

Legal age in UK is 18.
21 is just a ridiculous age.
Are there any Americans who haven't actually drunk any alcohol before age 21 ?
What age are people on those infamous American "Spring Break" holidays ?
Of course Britain's binge drinking society is a poor advert for lowering the age. Every Friday/Saturday night is like an embarrassing "Spring Break" party.

Of course Britain's binge drinking society is a poor advert for lowering the age. Every Friday/Saturday night is like an embarrassing "Spring Break" party. On my trip to Scotland I have noticed this. Pubs close much earlier than here in Belgium, but the consequence is that people go out on the street and be drunk there. We were in a pub in Inverness, went out when it closed at 1 AM, and the streets were just one drunk fest. We were quite sober, but that might be because your beer tastes like water.
In Belgium, and I think most of mainland Europe, legal drinking age is 16.
One of my mates was ranting the other day about how it's silly that Americans can drive at 16 and drink at 21, until I pointed out how many weekend accidents we have here, mostly with drunken youngsters at the steering wheel. He quickly shut up. Drinking at 21 isn't that bad, although I agree that this law is easily bypassed.
Happy birthday, rgirty, a bit belated but hey.
we have just as many weekend accidents from drunken younsters, if not more :)

Strangest thing to me anyway, is the fact that a person is allowed to vote at 18. They're allowed to serve in the Army/Marines/Navy/Airforce etc etc and die for their country, yet they're not allowed to drink at 18.
And I don't drink alcohol at all, plus I'm way beyond that age, so it's not as if there's anything in it for me, yet even I find it odd. :ponder:
