Anyone interested in this game. Heck I've done a small review on it please give me critque..

Ea and Crytek (the creators of legendary Farcry) are set to bring yet another great game to the evermore competitive gaming market. Crysis in their own words will revolutionize gaming. It is set to have steep system requirements but all this pays of with from what we have seen so far and there claim of ‘revolutionary graphics’ certainly looks legitimate. If you don’t feel you’re up to all the online gaming there is still an immense and immersive single player campaign putting in your hands the earth’s fate. 2019 is the year that Crysis’ masterpiece unfolds in. After a “colossal asteroid” falls into a cluster of islands North Korea swiftly corners the area of wanting to investigate alone and hopefully for them. Reap the rewards. However the mighty USA could not let the Koreans be technologically more advanced than them, and we presume that they make up some bull up that Korea will be using them to make weapons of mass destruction. Amazing how like reality games sometimes are eh? So in retaliation the US sends of a team of experts know only as delta squad to the zone, and then report back.

Whilst all of this is going on (and the political controversy that comes with it) the asteroid opens revealing an alien ship just waiting to obliterate the world. Then all hell breaks loose the weather system goes wacky freezing some areas. This sets the scene for one of the most amazing single players ever released with players fighting over numerous types of the terrain (all eye catching to put it bluntly) I cant see anyone not loving this game. In this world new AI systems that apparently use ‘real world military tactics’ will be fighting against and beside you. If all of that was not enough there is even a new supposedly highly robust and easy to use tool set that will let players design there very own environment factoring in an enormous amount of models, at this time we can only hope this will be implemented into the online experience which will prolong the games life even further!

One of the key points to the games success will be the online experience. They should be in good hands in this sector as EA’s battlefield series delivered a wholesome online environment. This multiplayer will bring three different modes of game play. First of is tactical death match where players can jump into a server and kill everything insight. As you may have guessed there are no teams and no objectives. Why it is called tactical I do not know... There is also Tactical Team Death match this will introduce two different sides fighting for control point ala Battlefield.
The third and most innovative is power struggle. Players start this game with nothing apart from the soldier’s trusty pistol, on one of two teams the US or Koreans. After you have chose your team you fight to earn points. These aren’t points that will make your ego increase as your name is at the top of the scoreboard but these points will be used to buy weapons vehicles and even manufacturing stations! Points earned depend on your rank and the player you killed rank. More points will be awarded if he is a much higher rank and vice-versa. This helps tremendously with balancing and adds a whole new dimension to the word online. This mode will last 10 hours (equivalent to 5 Crysis days)

If all that isn’t enough they’ve gone again down a different path with there class system as you can mix and match with what you want for example an engineer with a sniper rifle. This allows people to do the role they love with the weapons they love! Jets and helicopters will no longer rule the battlefield with the new damage system. Gone are the health meters and in is ‘Component Damage’ This is another feature that makes it closer to real life, for instance if you shoot a helicopter in the tail it ill be forced into a spiral and most likely crash. However when helicopters crash they don’t always explode. And whether or not you go up in a ball of flames is determined by your speed and height. There are extensive weapons arsenals and more vehicles than your fingers. (vino its ok if you lose count) Crysis looks to be a truly breathtaking game and with a release date to be given ‘very very soon’ the only question that remains is will it live up to the hype? You will have to be the answerer of that one!
