I'm trying to get a little something together. I copy/psted this from my guilds board, since I'm too tired to retype. I'll fix any typos later. :)
I'm going to bring this up repeatedly in guild chat so I know everyone knows about it, so if you get tired of hearing it, sing the happy birthday song.
Anyway, I think it may be time to roganize our first guild event.
What event you might ask.....
This is something I like to call:
"Hurry to meet death, before your place is taken."
(5 cool points to anyone who can name the movie that line came from.)
The premise:
Everyone creates a lvl 1 night elf. Don't worry, once this is over you can delete it, we just all need to start with a lvl 1.
We're going to race from darnassus to gurubashi arena. Once in the arena, everyone but th winner of the race will face off in a free for all to the death. Once there is only one left, the winner of the race will face them. The winner, by virtue of winning, has the right to jump in anytime after only one player remains alive. Its up to them if they want to be honorbale and start it at full health vs. full health, or if they want to jump in as soon as the next to last player goes down. ( I suggest picking up heal pots on the way, if you want to stop by a city long enough to use ah and risk not getting there first. I also suggest players who die not release, or they'll miss watching the rest of the fight.
The rules: You must start at lvl 1 as a NE. You are not allowed to use the aubderdine or ratchet boats, only the boat at theramore. ( and I'll have someone sattioned at either place to make sure.)
You are alowed to send this alt up to 2g, but may only spend it on food, drink, and pots. no armor upgrades at all, only what you start with. You are not allowed to do quests to gain xp or items. The only xp allowed is that you automatically get for discovering places, or killing random monsters along the way.
You have 1 hour to get there, if you're late, you're DQ'd. So its not wise to stop just to kill and gain xp. Class is up to you.
The prize: The winner gets a mystery prize donated by myself. You can have it sent to your main if you want....if you win.
The Catch: Thats a hell of a trip through very hostile territory, and there's no guarentee horde won't come and gank us all in stv. We can at least talk to ally players there, so if they interfere, they can expect to be verbally decimated by yours truly.
After reading that, if you're still interested in playing, let me know.
I'll need at least two other guildies to be the look outs at the two 'no use' boats, unless someone knows someone who'll do it. Impartial ones please. If anyone knows someone else who might be interested in this, well I'm sure we can take in non guildies for this to if it makes it more interesting.
Edit: To anyone on, or knowing someone on ysondre that is horde. It would be really appreciated if you guys could hold the ganking at least until the event is over. Not like you'll get anything out of killing single digit lvls other than the satisfaction of being the bully for a change.
I'm just kidding about the bully part, you know I love you. :)
