I get to the doors and nothing happens am I supposed to have a key or something?

YOU mean Akama? Are you talking about the quest that leads you to the, um, Warden's Cage in SMV? If so, you need to swim down, through and up... kind of similar to getting to the Coilfang instances

Uhm...could be Blackfathomdeep. (Early lvls for you 70's, waaaaaaay back in time right?) :grin:

Anyways if its BFD and Aku'mai, then you need to touch the 4 candles/oil-lamps in the corners of the raised platform. My advice, touch one at a time, not all at once. :wink:

One at a time as in, activate one, stand back for 30 seconds, deal with what happens and THEN see if you're still standing to activate the next one.

Just have to add this. :laugh: My first experience in BFD was as a rather new healer. For me that meant that I didn't pay that much attention to the surroundings but focused on the party healthbars. When we reached the room with these "lamps" I thought that touching all at once was what was required for the door to open. I didn't reflect to much on it then since we had some good AoE ppl with us. Anyways, about 1 month later when I went in with another toon in another group, I was one of two ppl in the group who had been in there before. So I asked if I could activate the candles. The other "veteran" said sure. So I just ran around klicking on them all as fast as possible. I managed to read a "WHAT ARE YOU DOING..." in the chat before hell broke loose. Needless to say it took a few wipes to manage it this time. It was a nice PUG for once so they forgave me. :grin:

Yea I mean BFD. I fight the boss in the meditation room and get his head for the quest. Then there are a set of big doors that dont open. whats the deal here?

as they said above - on the ledge of the statue are a bunch of candles - there are 4 (i think) you need to activate - but do them one at a time as each candle sends out a wave of monsters at you - once all candles have been used and the mobs dealt with, the doors will open for you when you click them.
