Question about required team rating for arena weapons.

When the patch goes live with the new team rating requirement to buy a weapon, is this going to be just to buy it, or once you buy it must you maintain that rating in order to continue using the weapon?

I'm curious. If the latter, what if you drop your arena team a month after you get the weapon? Or you go to a new one? If the former, ignore the last question. :smiley:

likely just the needed requirement to buy it, not to continue using it....much like the old school pvp equipment, you had to be a certain rank to buy it....but if you dropped in rank the next week you could still use it

I read you will need to acquire a 1900 rating to buy the weapon

I have also heard you will need to maintain it. I can see where there would be some confusion.

I would assume that it would be to purchase it - what if you decided to start raiding or switch servers - jsut not BG / Arena anymore - they're gonna take your weapon away? Neh, too many would be pissed I think, I hope . . . lol

Also, when does this go live? Wondering if I can get my weapon before it hits . . . :wink:

It will be like the old honor system. Once you earn the right to have the item you can lose the rank the next week and still use the item.
