Most Non-Combat Pets?

Otherwise known as Vanity Pets...

I was wondering how many you have?? I just hit 45 Pets!!.. total possible is 73, but I can't get some till I get to a higher level! (Lvl 55 at the moment). Not sure any one player could ever have all 73.. wonder what the record is?

I know, it sounds sad, but collecting pets is a fun thing to do when your sick of grinding... (though some pets need plenty of grinding!!)

My guild on Aman'Thul (US) is <Pets R Us> Currently I'm the only member, as I set the joning limit at 20 pets! lol (mail me if you want an invite)

Bananas
Mechanical Yeti
Sprite Darter
Dark Whelpling (got for 10g on AHH!! lol)
Mana Wyrmling

Haven't got other whelplings or Oozeling to drop yet!

I have one in my bag: A Sprite Darter Hatchling.

Since I got him I banked my Green Wing Mackaw from The Deadmines.

My Tauren Warrior has a Cockroach following him. It must be the smallest non-combat pet i've ever seen which makes it hilarious next to a big oaf like a Tauren... :smiley:

My chicken is my favourite! I like to call him, Sir. Boaksalot. Other than that - i have a lovely parrot that irogue gave me and a silver tabby!

I originally bought the tabby as an attack pet...then i realized that all it did was follow me around...that's when I banned myself from buying pets.

Get some kind soul to buy you a Mana Wyrmling from Area 52, they are rather flash.. Ok, I admit that I mostly want to know what insane pet name you'd end up giving it, ahem.

(I got a wyrmling for my brother when his lock was very little, and he was the envy of the lowbie areas :-)

You cannot have them all, as the Sprite Darter is Alliance only.

Murky, Lurky, Gurky, Netherdrake, Diablo, Zergling, Panda, Jubjub, Yeti, Toad, Miniwing, Smolderweb, Worg, Wyrmling, Moth, Prairie Dog, Cockroach, Reindeer, Willy, Egbert, Whiskers, Piglet, Speedy....I do have a lot...but I doubt I can beat your 45.

Also they are spread over my characters..my main holds most of them and some of the rarer ones, but as a raiding warlock, even with just 18 and 20 slotters and a fully booked bank, space runs out eventually....

Theres a guy in my guild that collects just about every Vanity thing in the game, to the point where he re-rolled upon TBC release so he could have inventory spae for all the crap hes accumulated. I remember late one night standing on the docks at Ratchet and he just started pulling everything out of his bags....all these pets, then mounted up on every speed and color mount that horde can get etc.

It was cool, but then I laughed at him.

You know it. They are totally worth it :) I am sure that there are more practical things to spend the gold on, but c'mon, they aren't as cute..

That's just it. I love useless crap to death, but my two 70s, a hunter (carries a quiver in a bag slot, and is an engineer too) and a shammy (who carries a full spell damage set at all times and a tonne of consumables) just have banks full to the brim and bags jam-packed. Still, all of my toons have a mechanical squirrel- I don't mind losing that one slot..
