Please take your time when posting, even if English isn't your first language you can at least try to use coherant sentences.
The Blizzard Downloader requires that TCP port 3724 to be forwarded. Also, players may benefit from improved download speeds if TCP ports 6881 through 6999 are forwarded as well.

thank you but tht is not what i asked for. i need to find out if you can add ports to the talk talk online security system i know what ports i need to make ect ect. i cannot load the blizzard downloader my firewall blocks it and im not turning it of for obvious reasons, however im willing to make a port to allow it through.

and i find it quite insulting saying

Yes, hence I said "even if" rather than "even though". I have no idea who you are or why your English is poor, nor do I care or want to make an issue of that reason. What I do know is that you'll get more replies and more useful help if you provide clear and detailed descrptions of your problem, as we just proved since I didn't understand exactly what you were getting at. Where possible, and to the limit of your capabilities, you should take some time to ensure that your posts are as clear and as useful as you can make them. Is that an unreasonable suggestion?

I've never touched the proprietary security software that ISPs provide since they're usually a mess at best. I'd just uninstall it and replace with a decent free firewall (ZoneAlarm Free will do).

is this free firewall a good one, and are you able to adds ports into the firewall?

I have dyslexia. But guess what? I don't use it as an excuse for sloppy handwriting. I worked pretty hard to be legible, don't use a minor disability as an excuse for not typing properly. I find that personally insulting. I put in the effort to get most of what I type straightened out, even if that means I have to read much of the content twice over.

Well said, I never even considered that you might have dyslexia because your posts are as coherant as anyone's on here! I make typos and miss punctuation and such but it only takes a few seconds to re-read a post and see if it makes sense. And it's worth it because it means you'll get the help you need.

is this free firewall a good one, and are you able to adds ports into the firewall? As long as you don't need to use Internet Connection Sharing or a few other advanced things, yes. And it doesn't work by opening ports, it works by allowing or denying specific applications, but it's the same end result.

Note that you'll still need to add the ports to your router or get uPnP working on it.

if i unblock the downloader wont that open up my computer for anyone to get into?I have no knowledge of the proprietary security software that you insists on using. On any decent software firewall allowing access for one program doesn't let anything else in or out.

how do i add the ports onto my routerI linked you that in my first post and you told me that wasn't what you wanted to do so. Just goes to show you should read suggestions and not just assume that you don't need to do it because it's not the exact same thing that you think you need.

EDIT: I just realised that talktalk security costs money. If you're on the 90-day free trial, just dump it now since you'll have to set all this up again on a free firewall when that trial runs out. It turns out that it's a (modified?) version of F-Secure, which is a decent enough firewall but I'm happy with a free one myself. There are various tutorials here on how to use the software:
