Messages read indication

This is not new, it happened with the old site too. When I read messages on a forum and login later, sometimes the messages show as if I have not read them. This happens mostly when I visit the site later and not a lot of time has passed.

I've had problems with those indicators for as long as I've used the forums.

The main problem I get is that the index will say there are messages to be read in a specific forum, so I go in and read them all and then go back to the index (not using the back button, using the actual link-tree or drop-down box) and it says there are still messages to be read. So I go back in to the forum, read nothing, and come straight back out (again with the link-tree or drop-down box) and only then does it say that there are no messages to be read. This is consistant, it does it every single time on every forum, including sub-forums. It's kind of annoying but I never bothered to complain about it.
