Looking for World of Warcraft patch 1.12.1 for Mac, enUS.

Does anyone know where I can grab a copy? I've found a couple links claiming to be the right file, but they unzip as either the enGB version or an exe

Thanks,
M

why would you need such an old single patch?
if you are logging into a legal server, would it not just download all the up to date information required?

Aweful thread name.

There's no legitimate reason why you'd want that patch.

If you have BC you wont need it.

Yay! no thanks to you people, I found the patch I was looking for. I was going to post the link here, but I won't for fear of being illegitimate.

"dude" encompasses a host of expressions appropriate for the kind of frustration I was feeling when I wrote this. Thus the name of the thread is perfect, thankyou.

and if you're truly concerned about legitimacy, then you should understand that there's no legitimate reason for your reply.
BYE!

It does not matter what "Dude" encompasses.

Usually on forums the title of the thread points to the topic of said thread, in this case something like "Do ineed this old patch?/, or Where or how can I get patch so and so?"

It's not relevant anyway since anyone playing the retail version of the game will getany needed patch on logging into the server. Your reply makes one think you are not using a legitimate version of the game, hence your illegitimate reply above.

We don't support or condone illegal/cracked versions of the game here.

Go buy the retail version if you have not done so.

Thank you.

Who cares what the "standard titling" of posts is . . . though it is not the norm and he may not get people to look at this post with that type of title, he certainly broke no rules so nothing is wrong with it . . .

And OP I too downloaded each individual patch before installing wow for the first time (http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=400114) as it speeded up the process of getting to the current patch by hours and hours (the wow download client blows), though what others have said, is a concern of this forum. If you would have replied accordingly we could have helped you.

Regarding thread titles: http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=402032 I'd say it is very much a stated rule in a sticky thread. Not a bannable offense by far, but expect complaints and comments if you do choose a lousy one.

As for who cares, it's my role to do so. I care. :hide:

Not to be rude bro, but I'm talking about the forums rules . . .

http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/rules/

Not your newly devised rules for the technical forum that you linked above (you created the sticky, the rules in it, and posted it in the forum you mod over) - this is in the "patch notes forum" - and those rules are not rules for wowincgamers as a whole.

And I do totally aggree that posts with titles like that are silly, and don't pull your attention and are not clear, but I'm just tired of seeing first timers getting bashed around here lately b/c they don't do what older forum members deem as "right" or "normal". They come here and ask a question to the community and end up getting bashed way before their question is answered. People are going to get turned off immediately to this nice forum (they often come here to get away from just that attitude from the official forums), and I'm sure that's not what anyone wants.

If we're being technical about the document itself, there's no mention of an anti-gold stance. It's an implicit part of forum interaction that thread titles should have a meaning, I just decided to be explicit and idiot-proof on my allocated area.
