Hello, I was wondering how much ram would be sufficient to run this game (I have highspeed) I will have 768 MB ram by the end of the night? will that suffice?
Thanks in advance.

You'll find certain parts of the game laggy at 768 MB, particularly areas with a lot of mobs or people running around, like cities. 1G is usually considered minimum for decent performance.

Full system specifications are necessary for proper analysis of performance. For XP, 1 gig is recommended. For Vista, 2 Gig or above for smooth performance. Vista eats up much more ram in order to run properly.

size of graphics cards ram also matters, though 768 usually suggests onboard graphics.

If I may, judging graphics card's power by how much ram they have is a pretty unhelpful statistic. There are plenty of cards with only 128 MB of memory which can put out better performance than those equipt with 512 MB, yet through the number alone the 512 MB card looks to have a four fold advantage and would be superior.

we aint talking about the speed of the card, merely its contribution to the 1gb optimal ram to run the game best.

Not really, while the original question refered specifically to RAM it was in the context of running the game smoothly. How much contribution RAM gives to this is largely irelevant compared to the finished product of how fast it actually runs. Thus the exact specifications of the graphics card are important in this case.
I run Vista32 Business on:
Athlon 64 3000+
Asus K8N-E (nForce4 Ultra)
Corsair 1GB DDR PC3200
Connect3D X800XL 256MB
Seagate 250GB SATA
It runs WoW on max but not with amazing frame rates, especially around town. The bottleneck here is definitely the 1GB of RAM, I can tell when switching programs and when opening and closing games. I plan to ditch this system soon though :) .
