Hi all:
I have a Land at home of one PPC (10.4.10) and one Pc (XP), conected by a router. Everything works ok, but when we start booth to play Wow his game works great but mine freaks out.
Even sometimes my game logs out by itself but the game doesn´t crash so that makes me think that is a network problem.
What is the problem?

A cheap router most likely.
Then again, using a mac for gaming is like using toothbrush for sweeping the floor, possible, yet not really built for it. There are conflicting opinions on the validity of the Mac as a gaming platform, but it's safe to say that it only makes things more complicated.

System specs and detailed error descriptions would help here.

Well,
Today I realized that my Mac does something when I play while my friends pc is off.
It does give no errors, just get disconected from Wow´s server.
My Mac is a Dual G5 2.0 Ghz.
1Gb Ram.
And the router is no more than 6 mounths old.
One more thing........ I use my Mac every day to desing, so I am not going to buy a PC just to play games sometimes isn´t?

And you right in that makes things more complicate in terms of gaming.

I don't care how old the router is. It can be two weeks old and be a complete waste of space, or six years old and be brilliant. We need an indentification on it. The age doesn't tell us a thing about it.
Also, use the edit button. I merged your two posts together, but you should really use the edit button to add stuff to your post, don't post two in a row together within the space of an hour, there's no reason to do so.
We are aware that your Mac can do something, we're more concerned with what that something is.

First of all apologized about my english, I am Spanish (Madrid). What I wanted to said is "Today I realized that my Mac does same thing when I play while my friends pc is off."
And apologized aswell about my second message, I am not use to post messages on forums.

Router is Zyxel

Zyxel are useless. Get a router made by one of the big industry players, like Netgear or Belkin. The router exactly that you need depends on how you access the internet, be it dialup, DSL over copper cable, or high speed fiber cable connections. Those are only a few, but you have to choose a router that matches the connection tpye that you use, and for that, we need to know what kind of a package deal you have.

This may help you, it´s my all my computer profile and the router´s:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=S6Y0Z87B
http://www.zyxel.com/web/product_family_detail.php?PC1indexflag=20040812093058&CategoryGroupNo=AC5783AE-9475-41AD-BDA5-0997187F44AA
The router doesn´t show any error or messages in the log when the game gets disconect with Wow´s server. I know when is going to get disconect a couple of minutes before, because all the wolfs and people that are around stay at the same place, and I think thats because the server doesn´t send any coordinates to my computer and like 90 sec after (must be a timeout before computers disconect ones they lose the conection with the server) my Mac logs out.
And I think this cheap router does match with the connection because it came together with the ADSL from the same telecomunication company, do you think that doesn´t work because my router??
Hope this help you.
Thanx

The router suits your connection, but that isn't the problem that's knocking you offline. It's a cheap design, it won't tell you that the error is with itself, that would look bad. I think it doesn't work well because the company isn't famed for making good quality routers. I got a router from my ISP too, but I didn't stick with it for the life of me. It went in the bin. They're a basic design, not a quality, superbly made one. Some of these routers can cost over $200 on the domestic market, and I doubt your ISP coughed up that kind of change for yours, but skimped and got something that would basically work. Put the standard habbit of ISPs using cheap freebie hardware setups on one hand, and the company being far from famed for quality (something you should look for in all hardware) on the other, it becomes an easy conclusion to make that there may be a problem with it.

After many days searching.............SOLUTION:
Open your terminal and type:
sudo sysctl -w net.link.ether.inet.apple_hwcksum_tx=0
sysctl -w net.link.ether.inet.apple_hwcksum_rx=0
Sudo it's need only the first time, it won't ask it to you the second time.
Best regards.
