Installed using US cds, but to play in a EU server

Hello

is it possible to install wow with US cds, but to play in a EU server?? I have a EU login, but I am afraid that they have diferent versions or something like this between EU and US servers. So probably my wow is updating with US patches and when I will try to login it will show errors...

I did it because I bought a EU wow, but the last cd is not working properly, and I have a US wow as well, but since I am living in EU, I want to play here...

Confusing no? But yes, I want to know if installing from US cds, and updating I will have trouble to play in EU servers... I dont want to loose 3 or 4 hours of downloading patches to get an error msg...

No. The EU version uses different base files, different patches, and different server banks to the NA one. You'd be hooking up to the wrong set of servers, and be having random errors if you managed to rig it up to dial into the EU servers with the NA client due to missing files and different patch information and scheduals; not to mention the lack of French, German, and Spanish lanugage files. It should not be undertaken.

Doesn't mean it can be done, if you're only on the English servers, but even then it's more hassles than its worth really.

You'd be better off looking on the Net for a WoW-EU Beta client and downloading that. Considering said client is fully compatible with the current client/server software. You'd just need to patch it up to the latest version to get everything running properly.
