Okay... I think I've finally decided on what route to start off on.

Okay... first I want to join a PvP server. Second I want to be a Troll. Third I want to be a Rogue.

And well... that's all I know so far :P. So a PvP Troll Rogue... umm any advice? Like err... how to play the game with that type of character or something? (I know almost nothing about WoW... expert on Runescape, Silkroad, Starcraft, and Dungeon Siege (PC Wise))... help would be great. I kind of understand Trolls... mostly understand PvP server... not sure on Rouge stuff, like skills and stuff. Any help would be appriecated.

Hmmm

Ok, for a rogue, check out Osiris' guide:

http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dt4f32p_4dcj7jt&pli=1

Now, there's not just one way to play a rogue, but that guide is a great start. It assumes you want to level - some people love playing other builds that are less efficient, but have a different style, Subtlety esp.

Server wise... take a look at the server forums on the official site - I'm honestly not sure that it matters as long as you go for a reasonably high pop server which will mean a more active economy, etc.

Professions... you get 2. Make at least one a gathering profession (Skinning, mining, etc) so that you have a good way to make money.

Oh and level to 20 or so at least before you make any determination on how you like the class - much before that and you won't have a good feel for the toon.

have fun!

nothing wrong with a troll rogue except that rogues arent easy to level. if you are new I would suggest a hunter, trolls make great hunters.:afro:

for that being your first post...you really should have made it a truthful one...

i guarantee ill level a rogue faster than you level a hunter...

Rogues not lvl fast? ROFLMAO

A combat swords rogue is a leveling machine. I only spend about 10 hours a week in game and much of that time is on alts, tradeskills, etc. and I still find my rogue amazingly easy to lvl. Much more so than any of my alts.

Yeah I have to aggree with Zendarin and Rotten, so far, my rogue was the fastest to level up to 29 out of all my alts.

Thanks for all the advice and everything... but there's one question I'm still not sure of... is a Troll Rogue a good choice?

My idea for the rogue would be mainly in the assassination skill. Is that okay?

Another question... should I even bother getting any str if I plan on being a dual-wielding rogue?

str and agility :)

i had a test i wanted a while ago to see which i got to a certain level faster...and to 20 i slaughtered the hunter at speed...

i think to 10 it was something like 58 minutes on the rogue, and on the hunter somewhere around an hour 10, from 10-20 it was around 16 hours on the rogue, and 21 on the hunter... killed my time by a lot. i can usually level a rogue around once an hour until lvl 35, then it starts to plateau, and the hunter starts to catch up until mid 40s, and the rogue breaks free again
