I recently bought a Laptop and im wondering how well it will run wow before I end up spending 20 pounds on a time card It has: 1024 mb Ram, 80g hard drive, 5.1 mpbs internet connection, 1.73 ghz, a dual core processor and runs vista.
Soz I don't know what video card it has :(
Sadly I cant use the website below, its nothing personal i'm just very causious about spyware, I also found out that the chipset is Mobile Intel 945GM/Gu express chipset family

Without a graphics card, we can't complete the triangle of performance, which is the CPU, the Ram, and the Video card. With just one of those peices being unknown, a proper and accurate answer cannot be formed.
However, there is a solution. In the sticky threads I have created on this forum, perticularly this one: http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=391708 There is a hardware evaluator, it scans your hardware and works out if it will be able to run at three levels of: recommended, minimum, or not at all.
Keep in mind, you should always read a forum's stickies. They were stuck at the top because we want all users to see them, so make sure you do, quite a few common questions like this one have been reduced to a simple automatic exchange now without having to wait for users to respond. Sadly, the downside is that people have to read these things for it to be of any use.
Still, thanks for posting here, I hope I've giving you a route to a satisfying answer. If the scanner tells you that your PC is on the minimum, below the recommended level, it's probably hit and miss if it'll play properly at all. Many laptops can't game due to the cheap graphical chipsets they keep ramming into them.

There's no spyware there.

There is the issue of being concerned about spyware, I'm glad that you are wary of links. But I do tend to believe that users (and moderators) that have been around for several years don't have a habbit of linking to dodgy or bad sites with spyware on them. Any members that do get banned pretty sharpish, and thus if it were a spyware link, I doubt I'd have reached three and a half years of contribution. I have been known for a long time to be helpful, not to be destructive. After years of that site being around, helping people find out thier systems and being used by several gaming communities, I doubt they'd sabotague thier own reputation just for a flimsy stab at users.
But back to the issue at hand. There's little point you getting this game. You have the absolutely worst possible graphics solution mounted. Bottom grade, cheapest made, mass produced, quality zitch. Intel Intergrated Graphics. To date, Intel have never managed to produce a good graphics unit for gaming. For cheap office work, there's none better. That's the mass market use of computers, what they're gunning for. It's nowhere near powerful enough for any quality gaming, that is playing the game without constant lag and image tearing. Couldn't be any worse. A six year old Geforce 4 MX could outrun that dog sitting as your graphics provider.
