I just started playing WoW, and i just started playing horde, and it seams everyone says BE are not good for anything cause there is another race out there with better racials for all the professions. I was just wondering what if anything is the BE better then other races for as a profession. Cause i like thier look :P

Ignore them. Your race has nothing to do with it and a BElf can do any profession just as well as any other race.

/agree ^_^

The exception maybe classes such as Gnomes, which get +15 engineering skill. There might be others, I forget ATM.
(overall I would suggest not being a Blood Elf, as Alliance such as myself treat you with less mercy then the other Horde races--Horde can't be pallys!!! :D)

Technically BEs excell at enchanting. But i went for Mining & Blacksmithing as its the most rewarding, even early on. It makes no difference really what race/prof you choose.

The +15 bonuses to manufacturing skill provide some minor benefit in earlier levels (you can get to level 165 in instead of 150 between levels 10-19, for example, which may allow you to make some items you wouldn't normally be able to make. However, you probably can't use any of these items, with the exception of engineering, which has some few items that you can wear at lower levels even though you can't make them yet).

But once you're at the highest levels, it's meaningless. So you can get 390 instead of 375 in a manufacturing trade -- big deal. It's not like there are currently any recipes above 375 in the game. There will also be a minor advantage once the expansion comes out and presumably the tradeskill levels go up again, but this advantage will probably be less a few hours, and then you'll be right back in the same boat.

It would be different if, say, there were recipes only available to people with that racial bonus, or if you got something other that was extra, but having 375 enchanting is not that much different than having 390 enchanting at this point. It's not like you succeed more or get any kind of bonus.

The one racial advantage I can see is Taurens' +15 skill to herbalism, since that WILL allow you to pick higher level herbs at lower levels (which translates to real money), though again, at the 375-390 issue, not a biggie.

Class plays a far bigger role in determining what's useful. Blacksmithing is little to no use for druids, for example. And tailoring and LW specialties favor certain classes.

/aggree as well

Your class or race doesn't really matter when it comes to professions.
Engineering and +Herb Gathering may be a different story at low levels.

But to answer more directly, BE's have:

Arcane Affinity - passive
Enchanting skill increased by 10.

Shaman is just a nature thing kinda like a druid.

Paladins are supposed to be serving the light - not raping it and stealing its power.

and you have never heard of a Shadow Knight? Basically a Paladin who serves an evil god.

Until the "Death Knight" class is introduced with the next expansion no you can not. I was simply making an analogy. A Paladin can serve an evil god but they are typically called by a different name. They would simply be an "unholy" champion of their god rather than a "holy" champion.

Paladins are worthless anyways, they can't dps, can't heal and can not tank... sheesh everybody knows this!

*ducks and runs away as fast as possible*
