WoW freezing up in AV - Help!

I have been having issues lately - primarily a PvE player, but have been PvP\'ing for the gear the past few days.

My problem is this - in PvE, I never have any computer issues whatsoever.

I am using...
3500+ AMD 64
2 Gig Ram
x850 ATI Video Card
Vista Home Premium

What is happening is this - Every time I get into AV I get random freezes for anywhere from 1-2 secs to 10-15 or even a disconnect (2 last night). I can log back on without a problem, but it can mean my death or my teammates deaths when that happens. It is totally random (but generally when alot of people are on screen - they do not have to be fighting).

I have my graphics turned to minimum except for resolution to help with the DPS with so many people and effects going off.

Turn off any raid/party mods

Whats most likely going on though is the 2-3 second freeze is due to everyones armor/appearance graphics being loaded into ram from the hard disk. Its the same problem as running into IF for the first time that session for example.
