Creating Trial Account Question - Simple!

Does anyone know if you can create a trial account but install the game off of CD. I have the game, a friend wants to play, but I remember when I did my trial download, it took forever!!! I lost two days play time with all the updates and so forth.

I think you can install from the CD but just enter the trial account code (not sure what the exact term is) when it asks for the authentication.

Maybe someone can verify as I have never done the trial. Just went straight for the full version because I knew I would like it. :smiley:

Yes, you can create a trial account with the guest pass key and then install a version of the game with your cd's. Your friend can play on any installation of WoW with his trial account.

*nods* That's how we did it as well. We used my bf's copy to install the game on both his PC and his laptop, and then I got to use his guest pass to create a trial account. Installing the game and creating an account are two entirely different things - just think about having formatted your PC and wanting to install the game again.
