I'm hoping you will be able to help me with this, my Main PC (The one i play wow on) has recently stopped working, I have a reason to belive it might be the power supply because the DVD case's wont open and the USB mouse doesnt flash like it normally does when it first boots up.
Is there a way of testing to see if the Power Supply is faulty (Other than using another power supply, as the ones i have one the rest of my computers are diffrent to the ones on my gaming PC)

Not really, either swap that PSU to another PC or swap another PSU to that PC.

I was afraid of that. I'll have to see what kind of PSU I need and see if i can buy a cheap one of the Internet just to test it before buying a decent one. Main problem i have is that all the connections on the PSU of my gaming PC are bigger than the normal PSU so i cant swap them around :(

Does anything power up at all when you try to start the computer up? Also, any details on this PSU that we can have?

Good news/Bad news.
Good news is, the gaming rig uses the standard PSU ATX size, nothing propriatory. So a standard replacement (like the one on the 'Recommended Hardware' thread) can be used rather than a limited choice.
The bad news is, it was one lousy PSU. Not from a quality manufacturer, and a few complaints about them blowing up and taking other components with them. Looking on the bright side I suppose, at least it is dead and can no longer be used. Never use a cheap PSU, they only risk destroying the rest of the components in the PC. Make sure your PSU can put out far more wattage than what is required, pushing a PSU to the limits is not a wise plan nor ensures a long life. A PSU that can only output 250 Watts in a gaming rig is, risky at best, not a good combination.
I just hope it hasn't decided to send anything else to the scrap merchant's when it gave up the ghost.

I had bought it pre built so to be honest I didnt really know what it was untill this happend. Ill proberly just by a half decent PSU for now and look at building another Gaming Rig from hand in the future. Ive been having itchy fingers lately to build one as its been awhile.

Just a quick update. managed to find my warranty card so i have had a technican come out to take a look at it. Apparently I was miles off, it was my Graphics card that was the problem, boots up fine without it, so i have to wait for a few days now for another technican to come out and put a new one in.
