i am looking for a RP server ,with good english speaking guilds ,kind to Noobs
i am based in UK

any sugestions

also if starting from scratch does buying the addons offer any advantage or should i wait untill i need em

Hard to say since there is no "Recommended" realms in Europe right now and since I don't RP I can't even help you sorry. I think all realms have english speaking guilds. Offcourse there is small communities for other countries on almost all realms.

If by Addon you mean The Burning Crusade it is really not necessary unless you want to be a Jewelcrafter or roll Draenei or Blood Elf. Note that TBC is called an expansion rather than addon since there are already such things as addons in Wow :)

I started playing on The Sha'Tar (which was, until recently a recommended realm) and, more recently, on Moonglade (a more established realm).

As far as guilds are concerned, I'm not really in a position to offer any advice other than pick a realm, make some friends there and apply to join their guilds ... though I'd wait until you've spent a long time with them (both good and bad) before you make any firm decisions.

Beware of any guilds that try to recruit you without talking to you, that never ends well in my experience.
