Can anyone who's managed to actually transfer a warlock to the PTR please post the current descriptive text or effect of Soul Siphon? Every time I try to transfer mine I see a 4 day queue and get a message that transfers are disabled at the moment.

I've been hearing numerous interpretations of the patch note now, varied from "it doesn't affect siphon/drain life at all, it's just a flat 4% dmg upgrade" to "it's now 4% instead of 5% extra healing per aff effect AND 4% dmg upgrade".

Either way you slice it that patch note is a mess, if it was just a flat 4% dmg increase then it shouldn't say if doesn't affect drain mana as it wouldn't affect any drain, and if it was the 2nd option then it should say "healing bonus reduced to 4% from 5%....".

If anyone could help, much appreciated.

I got transfered last night to the ptr. It seems like the pve server is bugging out a lot on the charater copies but the pvp server is accepting. and its not really a 4 day wait. i put in for a copy yesterday around 3 pm est and was copied around 7pm est that same night.

as for soul siphon.. sadly i didnt think to copy my 70 lock there as i was more interested in the pally changes and copied my 70 pally instead.

Managed to get my lock transferred. Wow, no wonder we're all confused:

Patchnote: "* Soul Siphon (Affliction) now increases damage by 2/4% and no longer affects Drain Mana." is the note.

Live: "Increases the amount drained by your Drain Life and Drain Mana spells by and additional 5% for each Affliction effect on the target, up to a maximum of 60% additional effect."

PTR: "Increases the amount drained by your Drain Life spells by and additional 4% for each Affliction effect on the target, up to a maximum of 60% additional effect."

So no increase of dmg from it (except what it takes via Drain Life) and it no longer affects Drain Mana. Also 1% reduction in amount drained.
