patch 2.2.3 account deletion

hi guys
i finally got off my fat ass and paid the 60 day prepaid card,patched it up... it was all going fine until... the information you have entered is invalid... the moment i installed patch 2.2.3 my whole account ad details seemed to have been deleted ... i went to the website ... same again... its happened to my mate as well. please help

I think we need some more detail as to what is going on. Does the site still recognise your personal details, or just the game? Why did you wait until now to patch up, it's been out for weeks?

uh, delete cookies/clear cache/all the crap. Blizz doesn't just delete accounts...unless you were banned (but even then they dont delete it, they just lock it).

my whole details have gone and its the same for my freind. i cant log on to the site either ... as i said the moment 2.2.3 was downloaded my account was "deleted" the reason i havent patched till now was that it was a spur of the moment thing to get the game card

i dont think it has anithing to do with the cache because me and my freind dont share computers and he lives a while out
my email address isnt recognised either . at first i thought i thought it was worldwide because it had affected my freind to but ... obviously not

Have you checked that you are trying to log in to the correct site? EU/US/etc ?

all fixed no worries turns out my account name was different to what i thought it was! lol i am thick... my freinds account has been hacked.... not so good ... thanks
