Those brooms really do look dreadfully phallic.

I was thinking the exact same thing.
Well I wasn't going to say anything. They didn't look like that in Harry Potter I can tell you that much.
Nice pics though Gorny, esp the last one.

Combine that with the unfortunate animation you get when a female draenei does a /rude, and it all gets a bit much..

Ah, sorry, Elly, it's only filthy when they are mounted (yes, that sounds awful, doesn't it?).

I think Blizzard did great with re-vamping the Halloween theme a bit this year. Headless Horseman encounter is fun and can be accomplished by nearly any group (free epix ftw, eh?) and fun brooms, etc.

I knew a thread like this would be up eventually, and I'm glad it is. This is my first WoW Hallow's End and I have to say, Blizzard did a fantastic job (Sign of the Apocalypse?). Free epics from HH coupled with the fact that any level can enjoy Trick or Treating or brooms makes it a really enjoyable experience.

We had fun with the Tricky Treats.
Reminded me of a scene in the movie Stand by Me.

On the fourth picture down, it looks like you're crackin' one out.

Nice pics. It looks like Blizzard went all out on upgrading Hollow's End. I hope they do the same thing for Feast of Winter Veil (X-Mas)

Ok, so I tried the inevitable, a female Draenei riding a broom, doing a /rude, for the amusement of a friend of mine who'd been off playing her hordie a lot recently. The giggling over voice was filthy.
I suspect that the creators of these bits of mischief intended them, but the powers that be maybe didn't. Jack Thompson would have a fit. Yay.

Fraps or it didn't happen.
I'll add one of mine, because I can. My rogue here is lv 47, so while nobody cares about people on brooms in Outland, a sub-70 player in STV gets a lot of comments :)

There's a quest in the SM graveyard, ideally for lv 70s. You click on the pumpkin to get a candle, and plant that to summon the horseman. It counts towards your daily quest totals (and also means you can only summon him once per day). It follows that you reset and do a total of five summons with a 5-man group where none of the members have called him yet today.
He drops some really nice rings, a plate dps helm, various grades of broom, and other fun stuff.

I wish I was level 70 to get that broom. Well there's always next year and 65 more levels. I could only get the slow normal limited one. When it says its duration is 14 days does that mean in general or for every day you log on?

Hours played. So, if you play said character for 8 hours, then its duration becomes 13 days and 16 hours. If, you didn't play said character till next year, then he or she would still have the item in its inventory a year from now.

The brooms are fun, but the candy even more, my girlfriend plays a paladin and is getting a bit sick of dispelling that debuff all the time when I barf over people xD

Hope it is so. Indeed my broom keeps showing a 14 days duration after having him in the inventary for 6 days of Halloween. But it also still has the "only good for 1 ride" tooltip.

Anyone else noticce that some of the costume wands have a # of charges on them like last year but I also have one that doesn't have a charge # that is counting down. I wonder if it will last for a long time or that it's just missing that tooltip?

Can you only actually fly on the broom with actual mounts, temporary mounts, or both?
Hallow's End was real fun. I remember the first thing I transformed into. Big and orange as I recall. For once I could call night elves "shorty."
