First Aid Training?

I have leveled my first aid to 150, which allows me to make silk bandages. I know there's higher levels of first aid because I have seen heavy silk bandages and megaweave bandages. But the first aid trainers I found don't seem to go beyond 150. How does this work?

Every trade skill is trainable to 375 and First Aid is no exception to that. So even if you somehow didn't see higher bandages yet, you should be safe in the knowledge that you can improve the skill.

You need to buy a manual to get your skill above 150 and up to 225. If you are Alliance, the book can be purchased from Deneb Walker (http://wowdigger.com/creature/view/2805/deneb-walker) in Stromgarde Keep (Arathi Highlands), in the friendly section of course. If you are Horde, you need to pay a visit to Balai Lok'Wein (http://wowdigger.com/creature/view/13476/balai-lokwein) in Brackenwall Village (Dustwallow Marsh).

All of the secondary skills (fishing, cooking and first aid) go up from 150 through a purchased manual (these have locations in the world where you can buy them, but you also can buy them in the auction house if you're willing to pay inflated prices). All three of these skills are also advanced beyond 225 through a quest. You must have 225 skill AND be level 35 to complete these quests.

In addition, first aid's recipes of Heavy Silk Bandage and Mageweave Bandage are also learned through books. You purchase them through the same vendor who sells the first aid 150 skill manual. I suggest buying all three at once.

Incidentally, for low level horde characters it is possible to climb over the mountains from barrens to dustwallow and drop literally into the village without running the risk of meeting beasties or players.

I found the route yesterday, its just south east of camp tauren but a bit north of blackenwall village.
