Essentially this is a long blog for newbies as well as those WoW enthusiast (me).

I just want to express some things "highlights and lowlights" of the game world of warcraft since my day one till now.

My Alliance Characters:

1. PvE Lvl 70 Gnome Aff Lock (primarily) - 375 tailorer 365 enchanter
2. PvE Lvl 70 Human Pro Pally - 375 Blacksmithing 375 Minning
3. PvE Lvl 51 NE Sub Rogue - 300 leatherworker 300 skinning
4. PvE Lvl 41 Shadow Priest - 250 ish herbalism/skinning
5. PvE Lvl 40 Dwarf Warrior (mixed talents) - 200ish minning/skinning
6. PvE Lvl 40 NE Feral Druid - 225 alchemy/herb
7. PvE Lvl 40 Dranie Elemental Shaman 200ish JC/minning
8. PvE Lvl 30 Gnome Arcane Mage - 180ish Engineering/minning
9. PvE Lvl 13 Hunter (meh)

My Horde characters:

1. PvP Lvl 70 Facemelter Undead Mage - 375 Tailorer/enchanting
2. PvP Lvl 70 Undead Holy Priest - 360 Engineering 375 minning
3. PvP Lvl 69 Tauren Boomkin druid - 340 ish Alchemy 375ish Herber
4. PvP lvl 5-15 other hordes.

Ok, the Gnome Warlock has to be my fav character. Maybe its due to the insta casts and having the most mana/damage effecient spells in the game. I can take on many mobs (x5 70's) by myself without any issues. Having the ability to summon, Crowd Control and creating Health Stones are just some perks to the lock character. Being "small" has it's advantages in PvP combat as well. So many other things to talk about with the Lock, I'm sure you all know, and if not please read in the locky section. Can we say we pwn in PvP? :cloud9:

I offer to the newbies to start off with the lock having tailoring/enchanting. Reason being, to make your "alts" (alternative characters) bags and able to enchant their items (BOE - Bind on Equip - items only, obviously). Tailoring will save you cash in the long run by making the bags, capes, housing cloths for bandages etc... for your other characters. You can sell some items like the Spider silk boots for 5g when you start your incline in Tailoring. A simple enchant on them will sell for more... Life tap will allow you to only worry about buying food instead of buying food/water - saves on cash. Once you learn how to Drain Health effectively, your lock character will never have to eat/drink again.

The Pally... My first character to hit 70. I thought I never see the day. I've gone through all the specs of the pally and essentially the only benefical one from lvl 70+ instances is the Holy Pally and the Pro spec. Ret pallys are a must to grind to 70, buts that's it. Dps wise = crap. No one wants a Ret pally in their party it seems and for just cause at end game.

My 70 Horde Facemelter is retarded when I crit with 2 or more spells in a row. Not much is left standing after a solid crit. I've seen sick damage and having the spellstrike sets really compliments the mage. But when nothing seems to go right, a few wacks and your dead. If you pull aggro and your ice trap fails and teleporting does nothing = good bye. I susgest the arcane mage for leveling and ice or fire for 60+. Having the ability to create food/water is cool. Portholes are cool as well, but hardly worth it, now that Blizz has a automated 1min teleport system in place if you leave a party in any instance. "sighs" :undecided:

Priest have an interesting insight to the game. They can heal well and can do amazing DPS when in shadow form. Why-o-why can't a priest cure posion? My personal pet peave... Any ways, I suggest you roll up a priest as an alt, seeing they are slow to lvl at the get go. If you have friends and a good guild, rolling up a priest from the start may not be so bad. Soloing is tough as a holy/dis priest, I suggest Shadow (with healing gear sets) till 60+.

The Rogue... second fav character. Hands down the elite joker of the game. I think I may have pissed off more casters then ever before with my Rogue. With Cheap Shot, Trip/kick and stuns/blinds can turn a mage into a mad cow... can do nothing to you. Rogue's can easily solo eilte quests, and escape from death whenever they need to. PvE Sap on a PvP is cool too! It doesn't turn on PvP... something to keep those PvP'ers at bay on a PvE realm. Yeah, I know, I'm cheap. Rogues are cheap to lvl and can grind easily enough. All specs are great too. I really enjoy Shadow Step though!

Ok, druids... Not half bad tanks (need great gear) though, DPS is "meh", again very gear related, serve best as off tanks. Boomkins are mana beasts and can't do much against two+ mobs and are very under geared. Their crit ability is neat. But the money is on Restro Druids in end game. I found leveling as a Feral Druid the easiest and pretty fun too! Moonglade teleportation can save on time for world travel - make sure to hearth stone wisely. And flying form @ 68 is the best thing for a druid. I find druids are very expensive to lvl 68.

Shamans are something I've yet to muster long side with the warrior. I don't have much to say, however I need to get my JC'ing up!

The hunter for me is like watching paint dry... or watching grass grow in the desert. I know I'll get flack, but man o man, I wasted time I'll never get back. I'll leave the lvl 70 hunters to do their business. As observed in end game, Hunters serve a great purpuse. As a BM spec = ownage.

Highlights to the game:

On-going support and upgrades are very much appreciated!!! :cloud9: Thanks to all the WoW programmers for keeping WoW my fav game!

The size of the game and the expierence is enough to keep the game 10/10 for me. Love the quests, items, trades, AH, other on-line players with a good attitude, the scenario's, major cities graphics as well all the types of lands and things to venture into! Instances rock!

Low Lights to the Game:

Dying... depending on where you are, could mean a long trip back to your body. I think every instance should have a graveyard very close by. Blizz has already made their money.

Major farming spots should have a quicker respawn rate depending on how many people are in that area/on the server.

Unable to loot a corpse because of server/pc lag is getting on me. Logging out and back in takes a minute at least...

Travelling takes a while... can't Blizz have a more expensive flying "Flight Griffin"??? at ever Flight path? Would be good for players who have played for some time and can afford it.

Flying mounts only usable in Outlands??? I know there is a major s/w glitch with resetting grids in the normal world, however, I'm sure Blizz can do it.

I think the lower level toons should have more items suiting their spec. More item sets should be incorperated every 10 levels.

Leather items at 70+ suiting certain specs like the Restro Druid, Feral Druid and the Boomkins are very rare and expensive.

More Trinkets needed. :flowers:

Peace,
