hehe funny bug, shame to see the GM's act total oblivious to the situation, although that doesn't suprise me at all.

I got stuck below IF on my warlock alt a few weeks ago, so made a ticket and logged off (ain't no fun watching the void for longer than 5 min)) I logged on the next day still stuck and my ticket gone. After 4 more tickets handled like that I got a warlock to summon me to saftey, found 5 letters in my mailbox saying they needed me to be online to fix the problem. Nice with an average waiting time of 3 hours.

Tinfoil hatters jumped on this story with abandon claiming it was part of a upcoming change to the game allowing horde and alliance to group and raid together.

While this was the case for everquest, I doubt we'll see this in wow anytime soon.

I don't recall having seen any coverage on it before, but coverage now is a lot better than it used to be.

We get nearly minute by minute ptr coverage as well as up the second bluewatch the moment any blue makes any sort of statement about anything.

Just look what the priest forums are all up in arms about.

A blue posted some very general terms about a single tree that won't happen for months and everyone is already going crazy over it.

This game has a huge impact, surprisingly even in my area.

I recently called my iptv provider (they provide me with phone/cable/internet service over a single copper pair, pretty amazing stuff) about losing a channel now and then or some pixelation and then commented on random latency.

When I made the latency comment the tech asked me, "so what server do you play on" we had a WoW conversation for about 10 minutes and since then my problem has gotten better.

Since I played wow the tech could relate to the issues that come from high latency..which improved my television service.

haha, actually I don't play wow itself that much anymore but I keep on top of the news and mostly the reactions, I find that much more interesting than the game itself.
I mostly watch my girl play now a days at least she got into the cool raiding stuff, something I don't have the right mindset for :grin:

It used to happen in MC way back when. If the server crashed when you were in there at the same time as horde sometimes when it came up you'd all be stuck in the same instance together.

I have some great screenies on my old pc of two alliance guilds beating up one horde raid while gehennas ran around rain of firing everyone :)
