Dont know if you guys have seen this but guess what class?

YES Warlock ofc!

Its a Filefront link so hope its okey: http://files.filefront.com/Solo+the+Headless+Horsemenavi/;8912178;/fileinfo.html

I dont think its the overpoweredness that does this. Just a smart way of using/abusing the enviordment.

Skeptical, but going to watch it anyway (about the being able to solo, not the "cleanliness" of that link :)

Was too skippy for me, I'll have to take your word for it.

But did you really roll on the floor laughing? Think about it.

And that was in regard to my internet, not the picture quality. I had WoW & Fraps & Itunes & 3 boxes of mozilla, so it was a bit skippy.

Edit: Just watched it...

Nifty. Arguably an exploit, given that the player can jump up there while the horseman can't - but maybe just "creative use of terrain" :-)

More impressive is the way he deals with all the pumpkins. Worth a watch.

Wow . . .

Well between this video and a few other "Warlock Solo's XXXXX" videos - I think that all the "Warlocks are OP/IMBA" threads have all just ended . . . and the answer is . . .yes, yes they are . . . so stop arguing that they're not lol

(that's right, I'm went there - I know you were wondering who'd say it first!)

Nice work to that guy, dot's and mob pathing ftw!

Could a hunter not do much of the same?

Haven't seen the video, but a hunter does have to have LOS for attacking.

Quite possibly - though a hunter would have to stand still and shoot unless you're doing stings and arcane shot on the run - then that fight would take for friggin ever! The rest as you know has to be done standing still. And IMO a hunter running back and forth doing arcane, sting, then a multi then back to running etc would be much more difficult, take much longer, and then theres the whole mana thing (no problem with a lock just tap, then siphon back the health you lost). It's the longevity of the fight that would come into play with pretty much any class but a lock and maybe a boomkin (innervate). I would think a boomkin would be the next viable choice, then a shadow priest with VE and VT would do better than a hunter as they could at least regain some mana (though VT is kind of expensive mana wise isn't it?).

The main advantage for the lock was that they could keep up heavy dps while constantly moving. I can't think of any other ranged class that can do this. I guess a hunter might restrict themselves to instant shots... but they are still tied down more by the need for line of sight. The other advantage that a lock has is self-sufficiency, in that they can "recharge" themselves with Drain Life.
This is where that terrain seems rather odd - I'm no expert, since my main is a melee class, but in my experience most fences, walls, etc., in WoW normally break line of sight; this one doesn't, which is what makes this trick possible. The warlock can drain life through the fence, but the horseman can't ride through it.

A shadow priest could do it.

hunter could too...just would take about 10x as long

A shadow priest using mostly mindflay and dots could do it if he had enough spelldamage to keep his mana up.

A shadow priest could do it.

I don't know about that, not due to power or anything other than mana shortage after a while. But would be worth a try don't you think?

At least that lock didnt have to roll on anything against anyone. I bet the plate helm dropped and the healing ring... oh how pissed would you be?

The only thing I care about is that my druid got the 3 rings and got the pet from this boss ;)
and my friend got his head piece.

To bad I didn't saw that earlier though, I would've tried it with my lock amazing crap gear :)
