right-click on the target frame and select form the list.

believe me...tried that...nothing dropped down for it. i was confused...anyone know a macro for when i target something where i can create one?

You can assign hotkeys to those raid target icons in the client Key bindings menu.

Don't need a macro. What I did was go into Keybindings and look for the section where you can assign a keyboard character for it. Happily enough for me there are 9 icons I can bind and I used my number keypad for each one, and using the 0 key to unbind something. It's super quick to mark things this way. Just have to move my mouse hand over to the keyboard and hit whichever key I want.

This works better than a macro because I can switch icon instantly and WoW put in this option to use.

just incase, i do not think you can assign raid icons whilst soloing i could be wrong though.

You could only put Raid icons while in a party.
