countless naked zombies. I figured it would be self explanatory, so I didn't take the time to highlight all of their names...but they were names such as "spookyface", "braaaaaaiiins", "mehuuuuungry", etc.

Must've had fun getting level 1s from Tirisfal Glades into the SW Auction House :D
...that's what you did, right?

I didn't do anything. I'm an ally. That's what I saw when I went into the AH. I appreciate things like that.
As for the UI, I think you're probably referring to the boxes at the bottom of my screen. It's done with eepanels2. If that's not what you're looking for, let me know, and I'll try to figure out what mod you're asking about.

Yeah, i like that look, pretty clean...

I appreciate that. I've worked pretty hard to create a clean, efficient UI. At one point, I was trying to work with a dark gray theme. THe panels looked great, but it clashed horribly with the colors from scrollingcombattext. Yes, I know I can change those colors, but Gray text is boring. So, I switched to a colored arrangement, instead. I like it. I used to use MazzleUI, which I loved. But, unfortunately, 2.2 wrecked it, and any attempt to repair the collection is meager, at best. This will due me for a bit.

you use eepanels2 with what to make that (bartender3 or something?)? I was just quickly playing around with it, and tried dragging and dropping stuff into new panels but that didn't work...

EEpanels2 (hereinafter "EEP2")is responsible ONLY for the boxes surrounding the different aspects of my UI. That means that it's basically 2 separate things laying in the same place. They are in no way affixed to each other.
EEP2 allows you to change the size and color of a box, and then move it to wherever you like. THe way to get good symmetry is to use something as your middle point. I used my map. EEP2 has a handy little feature which allows you to move something to a particular grid point on an x-y axis. If you set x to 0, it will move to the center. I set it to the center after alligning it at the vertical position I wanted. Once I had my first piece in place, everything became easy. YOu can check the vertical/horizontal position of a box just by clicking on it. That allows you to mimic the position (the vertical position, for instance) simply by typing in the same y value. EEP2 also lets you copy/paste yoru color schemes.
I got simpleminimap to allow me to easily change the scale of my map. The 2 boxes to the right are Damagemeters and omen (a simpler threat meter than KTM). If you're referring to the action buttons I have...that's actually autobar. I don't use action buttons. BUT, autobar follows the same button graphic as bartender 3. If you want to mimic that with actual action buttons, I suggest Bartender 3, coupled with cycircled onyx. Cycircled onyx gives you the extra skins for bartender, and also provides a simple fubar plugin to change them easily.
If you ask me, the easiest way is simply to make what panels you want, and set them up apart from whatever you want to put inside them. Then, after you've made and placed your panels, lock them, and move whatever you like in there.
If you have any more questions, feel free.

Sometimes I think I'm the only player left with his original UI still intact. I really don't get what's wrong about it. This one is much cleaner, agreed, but it's just too plain and boring for my taste. And sometimes I hear people say they have a custom UI for less clutter and a cleaner screen, but when I look at their screenshots their UI makes it look even more disorganized.
Oh well, guess it's just me. :)

i play a hunter and I got buttons coming out the wazoo. I think using the eepanels to organize them is a good idea, although you are right the original UI isn't that bad. My biggest beef with it is that everything is too big. I don't need an xp bar that crosses the whole screen and is a 1/2 inch thick...
what mod do you use to move the chat window and stuff? Moveanything?

I think if you just right click on the tab of the chat pane you want to move/change there is an option to unlock it. Once unlocked, you can left click and drag the tab to move it and left click drag the borders to resize them. I don't think you need any mods to move/resize the chat panels.

If I were to use threat meters and damage meters with the default UI, not only would I have my unit frames cluttering up the top left of my screen, and the map and buffs cluttering up the top right of my screen, but I'd have to find a place for 2 sets of data mods. I have ALL of that...and it all exists at the very bottom of my screen. I don't know how you say it's less organized than the default UI. It wastes space on a lot of things that I don't really need.

As I said, nosoup, this one is not at all less organized. Some people's UI's are, yours is not. This one is indeed far cleaner. I just don't like the look anymore, it doesn't look like a fantasy game anymore. I like the default action bars, the dragons around it, ... Changing it into big square boxes just to make it look cleaner is just not my thing.
To each his own, of course. :azn:

My UI is very much like yours nosoup, just without the panels behind. Well, I like having the buttons visible, but I guess that's where having a 24" screen comes in handy, I got all the space in the world along the bottom.
And Caldepen, if size is what you're looking at, there's a "ui scale" option in the .. video options window I think. I scale mine down to 0.75 or something.

You're not the only one.
Though that might also have something to do with me not being able to figure out the appropriate add-ons, so I can get a nice big box with all my buttons in it.
