Depending on your "preference" what race to you find the hottest or attracted to the most? Honestly I'm not here to judge your choices but if you choose undead, others may question your morality.

They are all cartoon characters. I judge them by pretty looking, cool looking or nasty looking. "Hot" is not really what I think of when looking at cartoon characters. Sorry.

Male - well you don't have to be pretty but the extreme muscles make them look rather silly.
Female - generally OK, although they made the voice and "/silly" a bit stupid.

Undead
Male & female - both pretty ok.

Night Elf
Male - body is ok, but for elves many have really nasty faces. Not really elvish
Female - a bit squarish look, not too bad though

Blood Elf
Male - same as humans, far too muscular and unelvish which makes them rather unattractive.
Female - pretty models, generally ok, although they made the voice and "/silly" a bit stupid, like the humans.

Dwarf
Male & female - both pretty ok.

Tauren
Male & female - both pretty ok, rather cute dances and sit emotes :)
Cutest race!

Gnome
Male and female - both ok, although I'm not a fan of the cartoonish look but they fit the theme.

Troll - both ok, although a bit a pity that they made the females too "pretty" compared to the males who look rather cool. Nice emotes, I like the voices and caribbean theme.

Draenei - I like both, ok. I like the russian accent.

Orc - both ok, fit the theme.

"Hot" is a term that stretches far. Female Bloodelves are "hot" in the way of pretty...female Draenei too (shame about the hooves, hehe). Male Trolls are "cool" and are certainly a character I like to play.

Then there are races that just scream for a certain class...Orc warrior FTW. Undead or human warlock...cliché, I know.

I always found cannibalism to be an unexpected, but highly engaging subject over a nice dinner-date. The risk of being bodily consumed really adds a certain spice to a relationship.

Personally, I am fond of the Draenei, although I probably couldn't give you a reasonable response as to why. The horns, the tail, the hooves! So adorable!

Ah, you are right! I just did what you suggested (yes, I am bored on a Saturday night) :laugh: and all the human males look like they have grey splotches on their noses. They have odd looking mouths too....weird. I don't have any real problems with them otherwise, but unless the character is going to be a warrior or a paladin, the muscles are just way too big and bulky.

Male trolls are so slouchy and cute, I like them. I can't explain why, but I just do.

If you're going to judge a race by its activated abilities, be fair and go all the way:

Human girls are too Perceptive, and will easily see through your clumsy overtures. Orc girls are prone to sudden bouts of Blood Fury, no matter what time of month it is; ditto for Trolls and their Berserking. Gnomes are notorious for using Escape Artist to leave their hapless dates alone with a huge restaraunt bill. While you're at it, good luck finding a Shadowmelded NE maiden in a dark room. Tauren ladies' idea of gentle caress includes a Warstomp on your sensitive parts. Dwarf women are as cold and unresponsive as their Stoneform, and BE chicks will drive you mad with their "arcane torrent" of nonsensical blahblahblahery. And the price for spending one night with a Draenai girl is three months of penicillin shots afterwards - 'Gift of the Naaru', indeed!

Of course - some paintings are not of real people at all but are from the artist's mind just like the drawings for WOW- now since you often can't tell the difference in a painting how do you know whether it's ok to find it sexually attractive or not?

IMHO an artist's representation of an attractive female can be as sexually provocative as any other medium representing the female form (or male for those of you of the opposite persuasion). The fact that it is portrayed using pixels has very little to do with it.

I also think that WoW characters fall even further away from the erotic nest than realistic drawings of humans do.

So, yes, in a way you are correct. Things other than pictures can be erotic, so on further thought I will relinquish this grasp, but for me there are definite levels of erotica, and WoW characters are quite far down the list, for me personally!

Females: three-way tie between orcs, trolls, and draenei. Males...maybe I'm weird, but I actually find male draenei somewhat attractive—hooves, barbels, and top-heavy physiques notwithstanding (although I'm not too fond of the face and hairstyle selections). So draenei win overall.

Here's an odd side note: This schmuck (http://www.tech2.com/india/previews/pc/wow-the-burning-crusade/2340/0) (he's a schmuck for deleting my comment, IMHO) describes draenei as (and I quote) "fat and ugly (especially the male ones)" and female blood elves as "lean, mean, athletically built, and drool-worthy."

In regards to "ugly," there's no accounting for taste. But personally, I can't for the life of me see why anyone would describe male draenei (exaggeratedly V-shaped) as "fat." And female draenei look far more "athletic" than the rail-thin, slouchy blood elf ladies. (As do female orcs and trolls—so much for the Horde lacking such women before...but I digress)

Well, he's there to cut down trees, he cuts down trees. Given that the first thing the night elves do is attack him and his warriors (like.. before they even find the tree).

I mostly take my point from the cut scene with Furion and Tyrande when Furion first sees the Orc's fighting the demons. Furion comments that perhaps the outlanders could be allies and Tyrande throws a hissy fit.

Yes, however you may notice Tauren culture is based of American Indian culture, the whole nomadic thing, the buildings they have, the totems. Yeah, it is funny, but I can definitely see a bunch of Tauren's sitting around a campfire with the WoW equivalent of a bong passing it around - what do you think they get that herbalism bonus for? ;).

I think blood elf females look painfully thin, surprised to see them win this poll but maybe it's because of the male blood elves? mmm :) I like the look of the Draenei females but the Draenei males look ridicolously big compared to their female counterparts.. And the Draenei females are just swaying their butts way too much when they run, I felt like a Peeping Tom those 3 mins when i tried out that class... ;) And the russian accent and alien thing is just a big no-no for me.. I prefer the humans and male elves (and I am a woman for the record here ;)). Orcs, trolls, tauren and undead? BIIG no-no-no..... ;)
