I thought, just for fun, I'd rehash the "well that's cool looking's" and the "oh my god, why's" that resulted from my experiments with my UI.
This was my first experiment...very simple...nearly a year ago on my level 60 main, a little before the BC release. As you can see, it entailed the use of Bongos, some FuBar plugins and a hud.

Next, we move onto Pravus. This really involved many of the same mod's, only more refined. Notice the big buttons, meant for clicking.

Here we have old school diabolus. I found new, sleeker action buttons (arranged in a kind of video game controller configuration), a map mod, scrollingcombattext, and more importantly, new unit frames (ag_unitframes).

Well, hello, giant black panel at the bottom of my screen and tinytip.

Enter Xperl Unit frames, arkinventory, simpleminimap's unlock map function, and a rehashed structural system for unit/raid frames. Notice meager number of action buttons.

Ah...the peak of my UI experience. It's actually kind of sad, because I had to do absolutely nothing for it. MazzleUI, ya'll. It's full of bugs since 2.2, though...it was a sad day when I had to move away from it. Notice the complete removal of action buttons.

And lastly, we're at my current setup, with the new use of EEP2, and pitbull unit frames.
