Does 2.3 bring an honor reset? [Archive] - Unofficial World of Warcraft Forums

I went over the patch notes on the main site and have searched the threads here. I cannot find anywhere that states there will be a reset of honor with 2.3 release.

However, many of the people I've chatted with in-game swear up and down there will be an honor reset. That makes sense, since I know quite a few people have enough honor stored up to buy a complete or almost complete set of Arena season one gear.

Heck, I'm pvp'ing like mad in AV right now to build up the honor and tokens I need to do just that, buy the whole set on release day.

Is there anywhere a blue post or what ever that states one way or the other if honor will be reset when 2.3 is released?

There is no honor reset. That would almost be as lame as a gold reset. Only Arena rating (not points) will be reset.

The only thing there is is a honor cap of 75k, to prevent you buying 15 items at once or something. You can still use that 75k to buy season 1 items once season 3 starts.

anyone know is s1 gear is just going to be honor? or if it will need marks too?

No, there is not going to be a reset, unless you count people spending all that saved honour on S1 gear, so they'll be near as damnit reset anyway :-)
