Isn't it grand?

My question is this, are there any big mods that are going to need massive changes to be compatible with 2.3?

I am hoping to know so that I know which mods to disable and patiently wait for an update to.

For me, the big mods are never the problem. It's those small ones you become addicted to, but don't get updates because the author quit after BC was launched.

Auctioneer, or rather Auctioneer Advanced is posted in a 2.3 edition on their homepage.

Big difference (maybe) is that it can now download the entire auction house data in one fell swoop instead of fetching it page-wise.

As far as I can see, there's no major API changes, just new API functions... in short, you don't have to update your addons =D

That sounds like it will be several orders of magnitude faster. My realm has a very busy AH and scanning always took forever. WOOT

Seems there are some broken addons like Cartographer, ElkBuffBars etc. There is a list stickied in the "UI Customization" forum on the US forums.

Also the Auctioneer addon I mentioned previously seems to have some problems which are being worked on right now (as I write I am on the Auctioneer IRC chat and they seem to work on it).

At least Cartographer and ElkBuffBars will probably be fixed soon as they are Ace2 and they seem to be updated almost daily.

CTUnitFrames seems to be borked... the target of target window shows a bunch of grey boxes where the buffs should be, and it's throwing a truly massive amount of LUA errors. And this is after dl'ing the latest version, too.

Fixed! Just make sure you download AuctioneerAdvanced R2468 (or better)

I just logged in and checked which one are broke. Can't see huge differences except the ones mentioned above ... Gatherer is also giving errors though not broken ...
