Item tooltips not functional...

Pretty simple problem, when I scroll over items in my inventory (bags and keyrings), I cannot see the tooltip for them, therefore don't know what they are. I can, however, see what the item is if I put it onto an action bar, but this gets kind of annoying :grin:

Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

As always the first thing you should do is:
Update all addons (it's a patch day so it may take a few days for all your addons to be updated)
Still broken?
-delete WTF directory
-remove all addons
-add them back one at a time until it breaks again
-remove/update the offending addon

Or, a less "Omg I forgot what this addon was how do I get it back" way:
- On your char selection screen, click Addons and disable them all.
- Enable them one by one until tooltips don't work.
- Once you figured out which addon is causing your tooltips to commit suicide, proceed to brutally destroy the addon in whatever fashion you desire.

Or delete your itemcache.txt .. I think that was what worked for me in the same situation.

Did what Dinnerbone said, it worked. Turned out to be an addon that plays MK sounds when you get a killing blow, who woulda thunk' :grin:
