HI everybody,
I heard that if you have achieved a rank in PvP the rank could lower if your character becomes more inactive. Is this true?
Also would i still have the choice to display the highest rank i've ever achieved on that character. And would i still be able to wear PvP-Items/Rewards connected to that rank although i'm not currently having the needed rank (but i did achieved it once)
Thanks

That's an old honour system.
The titles currently only are left to display what you once achieved. You can't obtain (or lose) them anymore.
As such, they're also not connected to what you can or can't wear. (Though in the old days, even then it didn't matter if you had the rank or not to wear them as you could only purchase them when you did have the rank.)

yea they were great, and were a sign of the times...they have been talking about bringing them back, but as of now they have no plans, and intend on it to be nostalgia only

Why did they remove them? It seems to me they would be a great way of encouraging pvp at lower levels. I loved BGs from the start, but as I was getting so little honour from them compared to what my friends were getting at higher levels they seemed a little pointless. I had a total of about 7,000 honour, and more kills than my friend who had around 35,000.
If I could have got a title, it would have seemed worthwhile :)

Because you could only obtain the top ranks through account sharing and not sleeping and/or AV botting.
The lower level rewards require less honour to purchase as well, so in the end it evens out.

Not true, I knew plenty of people who got 12-14 by just organising premades very carefully to be full of good players, and scheduling time each day to farm honour.

I'd be surprised if plenty of people included more than 5.
On most serious servers it simply wasn't possible do get enough honour without playing for 18-20 hrs/day.
