Would it be smart to stick in the 50-60 bracket and av for pvp honor and insignias if i wanted pvp armor later on?
Because on Dalaran 70 pvp is pretty insane and im sure it would be easyier there

i wouldnt do it as in 50-60 (at least on my alt) the queus are lots longer and theres more naabs..

I tried this on my last upcoming alt and (for my battlegroup at least) it wasn't worth the effort and I gave up.

There were very few WSG/AB going on and the AVs consisted of mostly low level people that seemed to have no clue how to play it. I gathered a total of 7 AV tokens before I gave up in frustration.

Thinking of sitting at 69 and pvping when I get there though :)

Depends on your battlegroup.

On mine, horde win about 95% of AVs at 60 (and did so when most 70 hordes were in the cave while alliance won 99% of their avs), and the queue times are not bad at all. Honor was actually better for me at 60 than it was at 70, and I was having alot more fun.

Don't waste your time, just get to 70 and gear up then, no point in wasting the time it takes to get that gear when you will be replacing it so soon.

QFT - unless you plan on twinking and staying in that bracket just level - once you hit the late 50s maybe do some bging for fun and see how your bracket is but often your best bet is to just hit 70 and grind honor then. Also, I wouldn't buy any gear past like level 55 as Outland will regear you nicely if you're not there already.

Best bet is to keep farming WSG/AB tokens as you level. Try to do one or two of either so when your 70 you can buy an item off the vendor out right. Casually playing 4 games will net you about as much as loosening one AV typically. But at 70 on my older server, the ques were 30 mins long, with 45+ min or longer matches and this one was alliance could still zerg pre 2.3. In that time you could pull two and a half AB's or maybe 2 WSG's depending on the match. If you want to farm honor though pre 70, AB is good because the matches never go longer then the stop time and usually end sooner then that. Because it really doesnt matter how much honor you get from any BG, all that matters is how long the match is.
