New Client - Please Use Now - PC & Mac Compatible

We are now asking WoWdigger users to phase ou the use of the old client and install the new client which is both PC and Mac compatible.

First of all uninstall the old client, remove anything from your addons folder that the old client used.

Download the new client http://www.wowdigger.com/uploader

Instal it and login to wow. Logout and upload your data.

Any bugs with the new client should be reported in these forums or by using the report bug link on the site.

remove, like what? (i understand about remove the old client, but what else?)

because i downloaded java on 06JAN08, and then the new client, on both mac and pc, and when i run it, i get the successful comment, but nothing has been updated on wowdigger. please help, i REALLY like this website!

Exactly. My characters are so outdated it's laughable, and the two new alts I have created in the past 2 months are not even listed. What gives? I use the new uplader regularly. This site has an awesome design and the concept is great. I just wish it worked for me.

Ok just to clarify what you need to remove :) Sorry should have been more clear here. Remove anything relating to WoWdigger in your c:\WorldofWarcraft\WTF\AccountName\SavedVariables folder (not the actual folder).

Remove WoWDigger from your Interface\Addons folder.

Remove the Uploader via Control Panel and Add Remove Programs.

Once these have been removed, remove the old client and install the new client.

Just the WoWdigger stuff IN that folder

I just made a connection to a previous problem I had/have and wowdigger.

When I ccleaner's registry fix utility it renders the wowdigger java applet unloadable. I have to go through the whole "deleting folders" stuff everytime I use ccleaner's registry fix. I only just made the connection because I don't run ccleaner's registry fix and wowdigger back to back. Every couple weeks for ccleaner and maybe once a week for wowdigger.

I've tried everything and still get same error from pc or mac. Cannot upload due to not logging in since last upload. Have yet to get this to work at all. I even deleted the folder under interface/add ons and the like. Still unable to upload.

And while we're on the subject, I created my character on my account and just pulled from armory. I have yet to see a link that allows me to create a signature. I really wanted this for our forums and obviously at the same time it advertises this site. I have only seen one link under my character profile and that is to the "upper right" like you explain, but it is just to embed the character, not the html or bb code signature.
