Where to ?

Hey, doing some slow enjoyable leveling with my hunter. Got him to lvl 44.7 nearly 45, now cartographer (i think that the mod) when i select zones on the map it says the level suggested to go in there and blasted lands was 45+. Now at this time i am in STV and still got i think 2-3 quests undone, this will get me to 45 and abit 100% as they are the grinding quests. So should i go to badlands at 45, is there any other zones to carry on leveling? I want to leave STV behind as fast as possible cos i think its the worst zone in wow, plus my friends say blasted lands is an enjoyable place to level. Completely lost, any help would be nice :grin:

is my gear any good for my lvl? Any suggestions on the weapons? go 2h instead of 1g x2? Thanks guys!

edit-Made a typo in the zone wrote badlands should be Blasted lands :)

I would head to the Hinterlands/Tanaris/Feralas at that level. Then onto Azshara for the hunter quest and also Un'Goro crater. Although bear in mind if you dont like STV, Tanaris is, or can be, fairly similar (speaking from a PvP server perspective) so you might want to avoid it apart from a few ZF runs.

After the recent patch with the significant boost in xp, I believe most people are finding they have "out leveled" other zones they would normally have quested in.

As for the gear? Its good hunter leveling gear stats wise at this level so no problem there as far as I can see. Yes theres always better but it seems you just want to quest away at your leisure so no need to go berserk ;)

I'd say Dustwallow is more mid-30's than low-40's. I'm taking an alt through it right and and the new quests are all around 33-34ish or so (and not hard to do at that level).
