Much easier to get to Feralas from Theramore. You may want to take the boat to Menethil harbor, then take the one from there to Theramore.

From Theramore go through Dustwallow Marsh and into the Barrens. At the 3 way intersection go left to the lifts. Avoid the guard and take the lift down into 1k Needles. Go N - NW until you reach Feralas. there will be a flight path right there.
