Ok, i can't decide what class to make, i have one off all and their all 21+ and i hear ppl say what ever class you find funnest play. The class i win the most with will be the class i like the most lol. So just from your guys own opinion and experience what class should i take too 70 and realy concentrate on. This will be for bg's/world ganking and arena once i get some decent gear.

i play horde btw
He he, this is the eternal question without an answer...
My opinion: make an Undead rogue, you have the Will of the forsaken for fear, sleep and seduction (i think?) and if you get the Insignia of the Horde you will basically have 2 ways to bahish fear. The stealth ability is excellent for ganking, and rogues are really dishing out a lot of damage in a short time. Then you take combat swords, do a lot of BG-s and get yourself the S1 swords at least. Then you are good to go. Enjoy !

So in other words - the one you play the best? How are we to know which you will play the best? That's up to you find out over the next few months while you try out one of each. Racials aren't gonna make you win the fight (they might help you win the fight from time to time but that's after your skill is at a certain point and only against certain classes and only in certain situations). So if you aren't good with a dwarf rogue (with stone form) you aren't gonna be good at an undead rogue (with WOTF) - racials are secondary to the class IMO and come in handy from time to time but aren't a main focal point.
Example taken from above: (Undead Rogue with a WOTF)
Will of the Forsaken - active
Activate to become immune to Fear, Sleep, and Charm effects. Can also be used while already afflicted by Fear or Sleep - lasts 5 sec - 2 min cooldown
IMO - That racial isn't really gonna help you against mages, hunters, rogues, warriors, pallies, druids, or shammies (who don't use fear, sleep or charm effects as a main stay in pvp - if they even have something like that to use that their class offers), though it may come in handy with a warlock (fear and charm) or priest (fear) and maybe a warrior from time to time [only when they fear] or a hunter with Wyvern Sting [very rare]).
Again, using the example above - it's only truly viable against 3 (lock, priest, warrior [only when fearing] out of 9 classes - so like I said above, most racials are situational.
So, just pick the class you like and learn to play it - watch videos - read read read. You're gonna be up against people who have been playing their class for years. When battling against a person with years of knowledge, experience, money, and gear behind them - you'd better gain the only weapon and/or advantage you have - and that is, knowledge of your class.
If for some reason you really think that a racial is gonna make you win over other racials then here's a link to start you out. At least it tells you what each race gets.
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/races/
But to answer your question - there is no "one race" that thrives at pvp - it's about the person behind the character, how well they pvp in general, their mindset (do they freak out or keep level headed and get pumped up), their knowledge of their class and it's abilities, and their gear.
Since everyone is afriad to post an answer due to fear of ridicule... I will give you "my" take..
Warlock (and yes I have one epic @ 70) powns everything. not a single thing can pown my warlock. NOTHING. No class/character in this entire game can eat through my warlock... I DO LOSE ON OCCASION......... But thats not the point. The point is my Warlock can beat every single class more often than ANY OTHER CLASS can beat my warlock.
The only thing that even stands a good chance is a rogue for the most part, although I have had some really good players of other class's t hat did well against me...
But for the most part you will eat EVERYTHING for breakfast. SL/SL Build is also factored in this statement. Other builds are nice, and better for certain things, but this build is best for general pvp for 1v1 and 2v2. Eats EVERYTHING. Including MOST rogues.
I would say gnome is the best because warriors and rogues slowing effects are important to get out of... but your going horde so for Horde I would say you can cleanse poisons from rogues with first aid and warriors are not enough of a threat right now.... So then it comes to horde I PERSONALLY think Orc would be best because of the stun resist, combined with 5% stun resist from meta socket would be really nice, I kinda wish I had that on my warlock.... However Statistics, show that Undead are the warlock of choice by horde since a majority of all horde warlocks that have arena ratings over 2k are undead. So for that reason alone, I chose Undead for my horde warlock... And I guess its nice....
I have a mage now, that I can generally beat anything with also (SO FAR) however mage is only lvl 55 atm.... And I beat mages easier with my lock, than I beat locks with my mage... I actually have to try to beat locks with my mage. Since I have a lock and I kinda know how they think I normally beat them with my mage. But again its HARDER than mages are with my lock.
Warriors are great but i start feeling Gimp'd in the mid level ranges due to not enough ways to escape movement imparing effects..... zzz
Rogues are nice but not #1 imo. Rogues have to many hard fights. Like hunter for exmaple. And warlock. (although the forums everyone says that locks are easy for rogues... I think thats bs cause I will admit rogues are the hardest fight for locks they are not "to hard" they are still very beatable.....) Maybe its because not all locks are SL/SL and if your not SL/SL then rogues can be a little harder maybe i dont know cause I have always been SL/SL (for the most part)
Anyway.. hopefully this helps you. Lock will also be fun leveling cause before 70, nothing not a single thing stands a good chance against you.... So you'll pown everything your level durring leveling....

This IMO . . . this is hilarious - we're not posting b/c we know that it's not just the class, it has to do with many factors as my above post and others have stated. Not b/c we' feel ubber and need to post about it.
<Yes I know im going to get flamed for telling the truth.................>
Oh yeah, you're gonna get flamed - but not for telling the "truth" lol
I'll agree that hands down locks are pwnage - and with little skill locks can easily take out unseasoned / undergeared / under-equipped players (as can a few choice other classes) - but I bet you'd change your tune against my s1/s2/s3 geared BM hunter. S2/S3 geared locks have actually ran from me instead of fighting me again after a few choice encounters in BG's and world pvp.
So I know you feel that "your" lock is the greatest - but it's not - nor is my hunter. It's awesome that you play your lock well enough to feel this way - that rocks - but don't tell some new person this information like it's the gospel. Yes, for a newcomer a lock can seriously pwn some ppl, but once you're up against skilled toons that are equipped to actually fight locks . . . well it's a different story all together.
Lock will also be fun leveling cause before 70, nothing not a single thing stands a good chance against you.... So you'll pown everything your level durring leveling....
I do agree that a lock would be fun and is number two in my book for soloing. Would be #1 but IMO Feign outweighs an SS b/c of the SS cool down. At early levels and really throughout - locks can own - sometimes even more than 1 toon at a time even at a low level - but it's not a definite, like you roll the class and can pwn all.
P.S.
I have a mage now, that I can generally beat anything with also (SO FAR)
is this just every toon you play, you beat all with whatever class and spec you pick?
Not to start some fest going back and forth, but in the future IMO - give advice without calling all the previous posters fearful of posting or whatever it is you think as to why no one said "LOCK FTW!!!1!!!" We gave our opinions, and yours was given, and no flames would come if not for a few of your choice "troll" comments to incite those like me

When you say the class that will win the most is the one you are going to have the most fun with, do you mean most BGs or most individual battles. When it comes to most BGs than it is really hard to say, since many BGs IMO are not dependant on one single class, but rather a variety of classes. WSG is a pain without a good healer to run with, so a Druid would likely be the class that gives your team a better chance to win.
For a class that will deal the best amount of damage in PvP I would have to agree with the post earlier and say lock is the best choice.
I would like to point out that I have done nearly all of my BGs as a 49 twink Paladin so I am not exactly sure what it is like at later levels.

I dont pvp so my opinion is aesthetic only but what says in your face like cannabalism. eating your opponents rocks. If everything is balanced then go for effect.

And regarding my (UD)rogue , i fell that Locks and priest is the easiest (atleast for me) to kill , i never have secont thoughts of jumping a lock or priest as i have to a Warr/pally/hunter/mage (well , i jump them too but then im not certain of victory :P )
But i think either a Lock or a Hunter as the most versitale pvper (frost mages too) ... pet for the win :)

/QFT
/agree as a rogue.
On the other hand, my shadow priest can kill a rogue easily because I've played both to 70.
A good player thrives at pvp.
p.s. Shadow priests usually top the killing blow list on the battlegrounds due to the DOTs and the very powerful instant kill spell - Shadow Word: Death.

What race thrives at pvp?
Goblins. They literally own the Arenas.

Just thought about this some more and was going to answer Ogres, but I think I'll be going with Shellar's reply instead.

Undead warlock, rogue, or warrior in that order imo. WotF is arguably the best racial for PvP in the game (although Escape Artist is still damn good even post-nerf).
Hunters are certainly no joke either, especially in BGs and random world gank encounters where they were already powerhouses before Beastial Wrath, removal of the the dead zone, aimed shot healing debuff, arcane shot dispel effect, etc, etc. Most of the horde racials are pretty decent for hunters, although for PvP I'd have to say Tauren or Orc ftw.
