WoW battle chest

ok if you have a pre paid game card for wow and you start a account with the battle chest and use the game card as a pament method , will once when the month of free gameplay is up for the battle chest will then it start using the game card?

It should, yes. You can check this by starting the game, and then instead of logging in you hit the button 'account management' at the lefthand side of the screen. You're taken to WoW's website and if you login there, you'll get to see your account details along with your methods of paying. It should look something like:

09/11/07 | 65.94 EUR | Six-Month Subscription | Active
09/05/08 | 65.94 EUR | Six-Month Subscription | Pending

This way you can see what will happen after your first 'payment'. In your case it'd probably have your first free month as 'active', and the gamecard as 'pending'.
