Every class as their advantages and disadvantages, and it basically depends on your desired playstyle whether you would like them or not. The best way is to try them out and see for yourself. So if you are thinking about making a warrior, then by all means do so and see if you like it. If you don't, you can always try something else.

Also, you might want to check out the sticky about which class to choose here (http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=384954).

if you like melee try warrior, palidin and rogue. play each at least to 10-20. I also advise you to try a warlock and priest at least to level 10. tell us what you like about/hate about each.

A human warlock might be hard, to get the imp you need to take on 3 or 2, lvl 3-4 bandits so you can loot the box and get the book to warlock trainer. But i guess you can ask someone to help you.

Good luck on starting a new person. My wife and I did that over a year ago. Be aware though that it is a lot of responsibility and work. The first years he needs constant care and vigilance.

Ow wait, you were talking about a character. My bad .

I was giggling at the phrasing myself, but I tried to keep that out of my post.

We can't expect everyone to have the mastery of languages us Belgians have . I guess I'm just feeling extra nitpicky lately. Which is why you're a Moderator and I'm not. You can let your emotions out of it (well, usually at least ).

it was full of sarcasm...and if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything to me or about me.

now piss off and let me have my fun :)

by the way...look at his other posts...asking how to get free game play in 4 other threads...

but i guess thats irrelevant

oh and i did say something useful...read it again

and if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything to me or about me.That was actually his point when he asked what you are doing in the newcomer forum.

I'll give you sarcasm: keep up the attitude against new members, it is definately very refreshing and is very likely to create a welcoming environment on these forums.

now piss off and let me have my fun :)I wasn't really offended by your original post, just mildly annoyed. But the arrogance of this quote astounds me. If you ever want to apply for "midnight mod" like I remember you were talking about a few times, you might want to learn that one of the major requirement is respect for other members and certainly newcomers.

I don't understand this question directed at RT. Is your point that no one should be here except newcomers? If that were the case, who would answer the newcomers' questions?

Ohh very sorry then my mistake I thought the post I quoted was full of sarcasm. Because that is always the case with him.

It was full of sarcasm - thus the tongue in cheek nature of my response - the question mark next to "helpful" for example.

It was also a subtle reproach for insinuating that someone has no right to be in the newcomer forum if they are not a newcomer. I am in the newcomer forum nearly every day to see if there is anyone that I can help.

That being said I don't really blame RT for the initial post - we all get tired of class names being misspelled. I mean considering the proper spelling is right in front of you here on the forums it should not be that hard to get it right even if English is not your primary language. The later responses from RT I won't bother to mention Puppet  has already addressed those issues.

The point is he comes in here to insult newcomers, not to help them. And thus he should just leave. I have a hard time seeing how you can fail to see his very direct insults. He is ruining it for the newcomers and for us who come in here to HELP the newcomers.

I didn't say I failed to see his insults - I said a moderator (Puppet:aka Snowieken) had already addressed that so i didn't need to add anything to it. That being said plz let the mods do their jobs. It is not your job or mine to determine who can or cannot post in a given forum. You always have the option of "report".

despite what your opinions of me are, you still fail to see that even with me picking on someone for their spelling, i did mention the obvious help that almost everyone else would give...

TRY EVERY CLASS SEE WHAT YOU LIKE

and if you ever read through the newcomer forum, youd see i do post in it frequently if i get the first post or two, and its usually pretty helpful...

And you might have noticed that a mod already addressed Felix' point. There is a report button....

This is an amusing post.

What? Sense of humour bypass over there? Other people have said many similar things, myself included. ROUGE anyone? I really dont think rotten is trying to insult the person, just have a little jest tbh. But I do understand your point as it "could" be construed as an insult....I just think you are reading a little too much into it. As we all experience on forums, its very easy to read certain posts in the wrong context. I know I do sometimes ;)

Anyway Felix I hope you dont take this as an attack on you because it is not meant to be put across that way (c wut i did thar?). And the aforementioned defendant does post advice in the newcomers section......not all good but hey!

When I see someone posting an inappropriate answer to a newcomer, I either call them on it, or report it. I think our mods do a great job keeping things under control here.

Personally, I didn't see a problem with rotten's post. True, it had a dig in it, but it also answered the question. Hopefully we're not all so fragile here that we can't handle just a little bit of joking around.

I agree completely. I didn't see a problem with RT's initial post either. The later ones though... oh well, like you said the mods do a great job
