hello all!! well i just recently bought WoW and i noticed that the burning crusade needs a video card that has Hardware Transform and Lighting....my comp can handle the regular WoW and it meets all the other reqs for burning crusade except the lighting thing. Should i try to play the burning crusade?? or would it blow my comp to pieces? :P
here are my specs....
Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 420 @ 1.60GHz
1.60 GHz
501.1 MB
Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family (Intel(R) GMA 3100) 128.0 mb
thankz
Start with regular WoW for now since and see how it does. You can always add BC later. I would also suggest getting some more ram. 2GB is so cheap now it's crazy not to have it.

Try running around in Stormwind at the bank with a bit high settings. If it can handle that, BC should be ok. But looking at your PC, it's not exactly a powerhouse, to put it in a nice way :)
The least you should do is get 1 GB ram at least and .. oh wait.. maybe replace all of it..
edit: did you test Wow or not? I can't believe it would run on that hardware actually.

I don't have a great setup for my roadtrips and wow runs fine but when i go to Outland or whatever BC chugs a bit (especially when running around in the outposts...) but is still fine. Like the previous poster if WoW does fine than BC will be more than playable. For what its worth if you just started you can hold off on BC until you hit 50 or so and you won't miss much unless you want to start with either of the two new races.
