I'm thinking about buying WoW. But first I have some questions.

1. After the free month, can i stop paying?

2. Will I have to pay every month, or just the months I've played?

3. Is it worth the monthly fees?:undecided:

If you could please answer these questions it would be greatly apperciated. I can't decide wheter or not to buy it.

1: yes, just make sure to remove you subscription information (ie remove credit card if you used one)
2: fee is monthly, due on the day you signed up (or day your first payment is made if using a trail)
3: only you can make that judgement :D

Try it you will probably love it. Blizzard spends a lot of money to make sure you do. 15 bucks is not that much. It is a game that pretty much lets you learn and move forward at your own pace. you can help friends and it keeps getting richer as you advance.

Great, drunk posting! If I had any more room in my signature, I would so put this quote in it.

You can "pause" your subscription any time you want... That is: if you pay for a month and stop your account halfway it'll remain active until the end of that month. Then if, two weeks after that month you decide to play again, you can simply reactivate, pay for another month and you'll have "saved" those two weeks.

You can also cancel halfway the free month which will follow the same method. I doubt you will though unless you have "financial difficulties".

Yeah, snowy, that was too good a quote to pass up. I'm not even sure what he said. I own that quote now.

To the OP, play it free for a month, and you'll know if its worth it to pay the measly $15 per month fee. (it is)

I have 1 more question.

4. if you have multiple profiles, will you have to pay seperatley for each of them?

Thanks for all the help. I'm going to buy now.

If you mean multiple characters you can create up to 10 per server if I remember correctly.

No, you don't have to pay per profile, you can have 10 characters per server with 50 total over any and all servers (iirc).

No offense Wintrow, but far as I know, this isn't true.
You pay up front, you don't use the time, then you lose it.
You don't pay, then your account gets frozen. You pay up and it gets unfrozen.

Wintrow is correct - as are you Valas. you are just saying the same thing 2 different ways.

Could be that my reading is off, but it almost seems as if he's saying that if you were to freeze your account and then restart it, that you'd get that time back.

So play two weeks, freeze, restart a month later, pay up for that month and have a total of a month and two weeks to play. Now I haven't been fully on the ball as of late, due to a slight flu bug, but that doesn't seem correct to me.

If he's old enough to get drunk, then I assume he's also old enough to do other such things. I may be Dutch, but I wouldn't suggest it to a child.

Yeah...I forgot to look at your profile location when I posted.
You see, here in the States, one is legal (if you are of age) and the other is not.
And maybe the OP is old enough to make those choices/decisions, but there are others (minors included) who read these forums. Since it was a post and not a PM to the OP, my comment was based on the public content rather than something directed solely to the OP. Sorry.

OP? Oh, but I was saying so to rottentomato, since he was the one posting about being drunk and all. I thought quoting him had made it clear that I was talking mainly to him, sorry.

I didn't mean to offend; I sometimes don't realise that certain things are treated differently somewhere else. :)
