New PC. Not installing wow

Hi, I was just able to purchase a new PC and when I'm install the game, its all the way to the end and then comes up with error says files were not able to be installed.. I'm using the DVD that I used to put in on my old PC..

any help would be nice. thank you

What's the exact error message, is this a DVD you made or a retail DVD? Have you tried downloading the WoW client and installing from that?

Like he said, telling us what the error was is probably necessary to solving it. They have discriptions and codes on them for this purpose.

Its error messages saying file were not installed. I just had a friend of mine look at it.. he says not to run the auto run on vista and do the run off the DVD. He said that is what the problem was.
