Hi guys. I recently started playing WoW without incident. I went away recently and tried to connect and play using my hotels wireless internet on my laptop but my account wouldn't authenticate (it kept stopping at the handshaking bit on the login screen). I assumed that to play WoW you are restricted to your own IP address (although thinking about it now that seems stupid).
Since I've got home though I've had the same problem, but I can't contact Blizzard because it's Saturday. The funny thing is that I can log into their website on account management using my details and it says my account is active, so I'm at a loss to understand it. I presume my account has not been suspended because I've read that it would say that and I would receive an email about it. Plus, I've done nothing to warrant that. Does anyone have any ideas?
