help plz?

well i have a couple of questions....How can i make my hunter and my warrior use swords? i tried asking for help ingame but noone would help me. Also how do you talk in the chat channels?

also is there any specific server that's more noob friendly? most ppl seem to ignore us noobs in the game.

Hey there, well, some races actually use swords I believe from the get go. If you haven't already, visit the weapon trainer in your races major city, more often than not, they have the skill. Sometimes though you need to go to a different major city and use their weapon trainer. You talk in the channels (if you are able to stomach it for more than 15 minutes that is), by typing the various channel commands, such as /1 for general chat, /2 for trade channel, and so on.

"noob" (though I find that word insulting) friendly? Sorry, you're kind of out of luck. Just about every server has their donkey's behinds and their friendly helpful folk. Some say a role-playing server has the more mature types, try not to count on that too much. Sorry I couldn't be of much use for that particular question, but that just is how it is basically.

thankz for the help. I was just asking about the server because i've been having alot of bad experiences with people. Everytime i try to get help with a simple question most people just "lol" and call me noob..

I wouldn't worry about it too much. There are idiots everywhere in life. Figure out how to ignore them and you'll be much happier. There are plenty of nice people out there too.

The best thing to do now is to read as much as you can about the game. Read various old threads in this newcomer forum and read the game manual. There are lots of resources that you can use to help yourself and then you won't have to be subjected to people being mean to you in-game.

And, of course, utilize this newcomer forum, where we will not be mean to you for lacking knowledge simply because you're new to the game.

are your toons alliance or horde? Im only familiar with alliance so if thats the case, There's a weapon trainer in Darnassus, Ironforge, and Stormwind..the guy that gives sword trainer is the guy in Stormwind if I remember.

As far as servers that are noob friendly (i dont like the word either lol) I doubt there are any that are more than others. each server, like others have said, has its bad apples and helpful people. Maybe try finding a guild? Those are (usually) helpful. and yes, read up on here as well, hehe
